Driver's licenses are now commonly issued to illegal immigrants. It does NOT mean they have authorization to work in the US.

Back around 2005 or 2006, we had a satellite plant somewhere in Missouri that was scheduled to be raided by ICE. Somehow, word leaked out and on the Friday morning of the scheduled raid, a hundred employees never showed up for work.
