Technical Foul: Ohio's Sec of State Informs Dems That Biden's Name Might Not Make November Ballot!

Oops! Looks like Robert Kennedy Jr. isn't the only Democrat presidential candidate having trouble getting on ballots for the 2024 general election. As incredible as it might sound, so is ... President Joe Biden.

Ohio's Secretary of State's office sent a letter to the Ohio Democratic Party on Friday bearing the ill tidings:

In the letter [to Ohio Democratic Chair Liz Walters], obtained by ABC News, legal counsel for Secretary of State Frank LaRose sought clarification for "an apparent conflict in Ohio law" between the Democratic National Committee's nominating process and the deadline by which the party's presidential nominee must be certified to the Secretary of State's office.

Here's where the Democrats committed a technical foul: The Buckeye state's deadline to certify a presidential candidate happens on Aug. 7. Because the Democratic National Convention is set to take place on Aug.19, that's nearly two weeks too late.

But a couple of solutions might let Biden and the Dems wiggle out of this, as you might expect. In his letter, legal counsel Paul Disantis wrote:

"I am left to conclude that the Democratic National Committee must either move up its nominating convention or the Ohio General Assembly must act by May 9, 2024 (90 days prior to a new law's effective date) to create an exception to this statutory requirement,"

My guess is that changing the dates of a massive event like a nominating convention is out the window. It would be nearly impossible to pull it off, with so many moving parts, on short notice.

While the Ohio Dems have only remarked that they received and are mulling over the letter, a Biden campaign spokesperson assured ABC News that "[they're] monitoring the situation in Ohio and [they’re] confident that Joe Biden will be on the ballot in all 50 states."

Now, it would be easy for conservatives to play this story up as a major issue, especially on a reactionary forum like social media. While it might be satisfying to celebrate the possibility of the Democrats being embarrassed by something like this, you just know they're scheming right now on how to get out of the blunder.

I just realized Biden has one other option--hope that Superman is poised to rescue him, like he did for Lois Lane in 1978's "Superman: The Movie," and turn back time to fix things. As my colleague Ward Clark likes to say, this seems appropriate:

Similar numbers to how many wrote murkowski when she somehow “won” despite note being the nominee.
She’s been loyal to her masters ever since.

If his team are so stupid to pick a date after deadline so be it. They don’t deserve being notified nor special treatment. If it was repub no mention would happen til May 9th.

Simply they are not voting for xiden, they are voting for the D
Reminds me of several man on the street interviews where dim voters were asked questions like, do you approve of Obama picking palin as his VP, which they did, or did it bother them that Romney was black, which it didn’t, or my favorite when the use Biden or Obama quotes and attribute them to Trump, which they universally condemn as racist…, when told who actually said them you get the typical dead state or “I need to do some more research “….

Actually had a first hand experience with that, was picking up a pizza and talking to the owner, a political ad came up on tv in waiting area and he said “not sure about Obama, but Romney scares the hell out of me(sadly he was right). So I asked him a few questions, pointed out a few facts.
Had that same look as those no just spoke of

As I was leaving with the pizza he remarked “I guess I had better do more research “. I said under my breath “ perhaps you should do some research”

I, like many, have some well-educated friends (some lifetime) who always consult the same sources of information (News?) and never deviate. When confronted with real facts that fly in the face of the bunk they’ve been fed, they immediately rush to those same sites (Atlantic, NYT, WP, MSM) for a “comfort” pill. They have been drinking the Kool-Aid for so long their psyches are just not strong enough to face the truth.

The dems will just use one of their judges to declare the Ohio statute null and void. Now if the shoe were on the other foot.......

Since when did America’s Leftists worry about their actions being lawless? Everything they are doing now to Trump is flagrantly lawless and unconstitutional.

Communists ALWAYS believe The Ends Justify ANY Means.

When you deal with outlaws, you have to DESTROY them. There is no negotiating. Patriots will have to completely destroy these people. They are deranged and dangerous. They are like a devastating biblical plague of locusts.

The RNC announced its convention dates in December 2022. The DNC announced its dates in April 2033, a year ago. Why is this just coming up now? Did Ohio change its certification dates? That would be hard to believe. Something here doesn’t add up.

It when someone (maybe Jesse Watters) asked people leaving a point place who said, “I can see Alaska from my porch.”

Most said Sarah Palin, when it actually was Tina Fey on SNL.

There is no way in hell that a Democrat presidential candidate is going to be off the ballot of any state. And if they try to implement it over some deadline reason, SCOTUS will strike it down in two shakes of lambs tail.

Meanwhile, the 50,000+ mail-in ballots in GA in 2020 that a poll worker made a sworn deposition over the fact they were all tightly stacked with no creases, felt different to the touch from the other mail-ins, appeared to be photocopied, and every single last one in the stack was for Biden --- well that case is still mired in the lower courts with not a single one of those ballots being audited. The judge had a deadline that passed last year on when he had to make a ruling, and the word is that those ballots have been destroyed. The same slow-walking of court cases is being done to Kari Lake with regard to signature verification on the mail-ins that stole her election in 2022.

The law moves very slow if it involves convicting a Democrat or exonerating a Republican. The law moves very fast if it involves convicting a Republican or helping a Democrat.

Some folks who have thought deeply about this blame our education system for the easy brainwashing of the masses.

Children are rewarded in school for repeating what they are told, not for thinking.

Finding the truth is hard work—nobody gives it to you.

Is this a relatively new law? The party conventions are often held that late: the Dems have only held their convention "early enough" twice since 2000.

From the Columbus Dispatch:

In 2020, both major parties scheduled their conventions for after Ohio's deadline, which requires the nominee names 90 days before the election. Knowing this glitch was in the offing, state lawmakers in 2019 added a one-time change, shortening it to 60 days before the election.

But that should have been triggered in other years too. Maybe we just have a general 90 day before the election deadline for ballot access that we exempt the Dems and Republicans every year and this is just the first step to their regular fix of it.

So, if the Dems tell the state their candidate is Biden by the due date, then switch to “Any Twosome” Newsome at the convention, Newsome won’t be on the ballot. He He!

It says that when the DNC set the DNC Convention date, they did not check all the states to see what was the “nominations must be filed by” date. Sloppy, by they’re Dims, what do you expect.
