Four years ago, the media birthed one of the biggest fictions that it pushed during the COVID-19 pandemic: that Donald Trump told Americans to inject themselves with bleach. He did no such thing, but the desperate Biden campaign wants you to think so.
Biden-Harris HQ
@BidenHQ
Four years ago today, Trump told Americans to inject bleach on national television
The false claim originated from the White House Coronavirus Task Force Briefing on April 23, 2020. During the briefing, Trump and others discussed possible COVID-19 treatments, including UV light treatments. The portion of the quote featured in the video from Biden's campaign is in bold.
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. So I asked Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of, if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. It sounds interesting.

The truth is that Trump used the dictionary definition of disinfectant, which is anything that kills bacteria and viruses. This can include ultraviolet light.
In the 1950’s, putting ultraviolet light through an endoscopy and put into the lungs was a bonfied treatment.
Biden supporters, all democrats, will believe anything you feed them.
I’m white enough, thank you.
It was Sanjay Gupta on CNN who paraphrased the actual comment to say that the president should not encourage people to inject bleach. The rest of the media ran with it as if Trump actually said it. Hopefully someday those people will get what they deserve.
LOL!!
They must have got the Bart Simpson toon idea from seeing Biden talk.
That is such an idiotic lie. Biden would have forced Americans to inject it.
I seem to recall that the Clorox CEO made a big ad where he ridiculed Trump by accusing him of saying this, and “warning people” not to take Trump’s “advice.”Maybe Gupta got it from there. Idk.
If Biden opens his mouth abd words come out he is lying.
That's right up with the tale about Trump hiring prostitutes to pee on some bed. Gak~
That myth probably started with videos from Hunter's escapades found on Hunter's laptop.
