Footage NASA never wanted you to see (video link)
moontruth.com ^ | July 20, 1969 | Moontruth

If you're at this page because you've just seen an amazing piece of footage showing the Apollo 11 moonlanding to have been shot in a studio, then read on. If you haven't seen the clip, click the link below, and prepare to be amazed.

At 4:17 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, on July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong was seen on television by millions of people around the world apparently walking on the surface of the moon, and making one giant leap into the pages of history. BUT DID HE? Conspiracy theories abound on the Internet.

The piece of footage you just saw answers the question - but raises a lot of others. We don't know the answers to all these questions - but here is what we do know:

1) Is it real? Yes. This footage was clearly shot in a studio, and is clearly meant to represent the Apollo 11 moon landing. The attention to detail is staggering. The intention is clearly to fool viewers into believing that it is genuine.

2) Is it conclusive? No. There is no proof that because this was shot in a studio, the moon landing was necessarily faked. But we do know that the original non-digital footage was destroyed and that certain (dangerous) people are very angry that this clip has leaked.

3) How did we get it? We did not get it directly from a NASA source. Our source is well placed to vouch for the authenticity of the footage and had links with the makers of 2 recent documentaries, one for the BBC and one for CNN about the moonlanding conspiracies. We cannot possibly reveal his identity, and probably never will be able to. His position is more dangerous than you might imagine.

4) Why haven't I seen it before? The footage has been buried for over 30 years. All the original stock, except this cut, was destroyed. We have had it for over 2 years and in that time have (anonymously) approached almost every large TV network owner to sell the rights. Without exception they were interested and offered to buy it. At one point they were also Then, also without exception they changed their minds and started to try to find out who we were. At that point we stopped dealing with them. It was scary as hell.

5) How, when and where was it made? It was made in 1965, judging by the camera it was shot on - an Ikegami Tube Camera. We have evidence that the footage was shot outside the US - possibly in Europe, by a foreign crew.

6) Who is inside the suit? Not one of the original astronauts. In fact, they are totally unaware that this footage was ever shot. The guy in the suit is an actor called Symond Lewis.

7) Why is it on the Internet and not on TV? See point 4

8) What is NASA's reaction to this footage? They have refused to comment. But we have recently heard that they are stepping up efforts on a huge PR campaign to convince us all that the Apollo moonlandings all took place.

Someone should ask Buzz Aldrin what he thinks of the moon mission being fake.

Oops, looks like someone already did.

"Mr Aldrin, famous for his participation in the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969, hit Bart Sibrel after he approached the former astronaut outside a hotel in Beverley Hills, Los Angeles and demanded he swear on a Bible that the landing was not staged.
Yay! Good for him.
I believe that this was all started because of that blasted Fox special a few years ago.

Big whoop. Who is to say that that footage wasn't shot a few years ago with an old camera?

Any one notice the magically appearing box on the horizon after the light strikes the "astronaut"? Or how about the odd jump off of the ladder (an obvious edit).

I think this clip is bogus, not the moon landing.

Just consider the implications for secrecy in faking the moon landing. Hundreds if not thousands of NASA civil servants and contractors would have to knowing perpetrate this fraud upon the public. The swearing to secrecy of the number of people required to pull this off is staggering.

Our government, especially NASA, is not that competent.

This ranks right up there with the alien

Ever wonder how these Yahoos can't explain the laser measurements that use the corner reflectors that the astronauts left on the moon? At a time when the JFK controversey has our attention we certainly don't need to don our tin foil hats to ward off these "pictures"!

We weren't the only ones tracking the space craft to the moon. If it was faked the Russians would have made a big stink. You can be sure that the whole trip was monitored by the USSR from start to finish.

Not that I buy into the lunar conspiracy theory, but why would that many NASA civil servants and contractors need to know if that or any other mission was being faked? Couldn't they be duped even more easily than ordinary folks? If they were alert and competent, they'd not need as many career protections which still make it so hard for the government to bring in competent people.

>>>If it was faked the Russians would have made a big stink.<<<

The Russians never landed humans onto the Moon, and I don't know how they could have known whether or not whatever we sent out there had actual humans in it or not. Even today the international scientific community is still debating about lunar details such as whether there's much ice on or near the surface.

That's right. And what about the millions who watched one moon landing or another on TV or watched the lunar ascent the last couple of flights. All faked. The most trusted Walter Cronkite was faked. Richard C Hoagland was faked. Even my TV and the cat sleeping on top of it were faked.

They looked using an Earth-based telescope located in (I think) Arecibo, Puerto Rico (heavily funded by the National Science Foundation, NOT NASA...). Humanity didn't have that much capability 30 years ago. Lunar buffs still contend that plenty of ice is nevertheless mixed with the Lunar "soil" even if frozen lakes haven't been found on the suface.

If it was faked the Russians would have made a big stink. You can be sure that the whole trip was monitored by the USSR from start to finish.

Easy explanation:

Somebody persuaded the Russian leaders to remain quiet.

As I recall, the Russian space program seemed to lose speed a couple of years before we "landed" on the moon.

Perhaps that's when they were convinced to let us appear to "win" the race.

Imagine the number of people on a typical movie set. Then the scientists and engineers eployed to insure authenticity, the communications officials knowing the transmissions were not originating from the moon, the faked hardware construction, etc, ect. It doesn't take long to get to a cast of hundreds.

Yes, and I suppose the thousands of people that made the moon landing possible were fake too. And all the science and engineering projects were fake. The engineers were fake. The shuttle, orbiter, and lander were fake. Buzz Aldrin, Armstrong, and the other 8 astronauts who have been on the moon were fake. The return vehicle was fake. The moon rocks that have a mineral composition that can only be found on the moon are fake as well.

Faked hardware construction? I wouldn't be surprised if it was quite real. I also wouldn't be surprised if it was actually sent out there (a la Capricorn One). Whether or not there were inhabitants onboard, however, is not something of which I'm totally convinced.

As for communication signals' origination... I'm no expert in that realm. Could they have been sent from Earth and reflected back by the hardware that presumably arrived, in undetected ways?

As for large casts of studio staffers required to make a hit movie, Blair Witch Project cost somewhere around $50K. At times it showed, and admittedly back then technology wasn't nearly as user-friendly. However, the movie Wag the Dog comes to mind...

I'm not committed one way or the other, but would it have been possible to make Buzz Aldrin and the (nowadays habitually silent) Neil Armstrong THINK they traveled to the Moon even if they didn't? Could the contractors have been lead to think that they were operating machinery carrying humans much farther than we've been in over 30 years since that era? Could the Lunar rocks have arrived here like meteorites do? Notice how hard they are to obtain? Just last month some folks were imprisoned for dabbling with them.
