My father was found down in his front yard by a passing neighbor. He is now in the ER with unknown problem(s).
Any thoughts and prayers for a good man would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Turns out that around 4:30 yesterday afternoon while dismounting his truck, something caused him to fall, breaking his right hip, and spending the sub-freezing night on the ground covered with whatever leaves that he could reach, and necessitating either pinning the break or replacing the hip this afternoon.
His grandson-in-law is there now, and my brother and sis-in-law with be going to Greenville shortly.
I'm not sure when I'll be needed up there.

I can not imagine lying on the ground, in unbelievable pain, my cell phone six feet away and unable to get to it, and trying to keep warm by gathering oak leaves to cover myself - I just can not begin to imagine it, and I'm only 57, he's 85, for crying out loud.
More posted, as I learn it.
Thanks so much for your concern F150...that's what daddy drives - XLT Lariat 4x4, tricked out, yo mama machine.

Thanks so much for the good thougts, sentiments, and prayers here friends.
So much appreciated, that I cannot tell you.
God bless and keep you all.
My father is a Godly man, who may choose, at this point in his life, to go Home to his Heavenly home.
I do not know this to be the fact, but I do know, that at a certain point in time, we can choose to shut it down in this life, and move on to the next.
Cheers friends, may all be well with you, and your soul.

My wife and her dad were about the same age as you and your dad are, and he went home a month ago.
We can assure you your dad, should he choose to return home, will be there! He'll be in his prime and there anytime you need him. Be sure to forgive him, if need be.
