I believe that we all have a metaphysical component as humans anyway, so the prospect of connecting via metaphysics shouldn't be seen as an impossibility. that said, I don't subscribe to the "ET's are more spiritually enlighted" bit as a necessary condition in any eventual contact. The physics and technology of today is magical in the eyes of the past.

There's one intriguing story . . .

An abductee--man--20-30 something . . . was abducted from Southern California and released up north in the State somewhere . . .

Anyway--I think he was also taken far out in space. I don't recall if he was shown a home planet or not. I don't think so. The duration of the abduction was longer than average as I recall.

Anyway--at some point, he was asked if he wanted to pay his respects to THE DEITY. He asked Which one?

The response was--THERE'S ONLY ONE.

Then he was shown a chapel. I think the chapel didn't have any signficant decorations or adornement. It was evidently like many military chapels--rather generic and plain. He said he never felt God's presence so strongly at any other time of his life.

Interesting, anyway.
