HELP Looking for columnist who wrote about Hispanics abusing horses

Hi, this morning Lee Rodgers and Melanie Morgan of KSFO's Morning Show were discussing a recent news item about illegal Hispanics brutalizing a pet horse so badly it had to be put down. [they were chasing the horse in their pick-up] Sorry I don't have the url for the news item as I didn't catch where this occured.

But what I'm really looking for is a recent column [within the last month or so] by a columnist which I believe I read in Townhall.com's email selection about the growing practice here in the USA by Hispanics in the so-called "sport" of "horse tripping" --ie forcing a horse to run at full gallop around in a paddock and then 'tripping' it causing extensive internal injuries and broken bones. I remember the columnist saying this was a common 'cultural practice' in Central and South America and is now spreading here in the US.

Sadly, and frustratingly, I cannot remember the author's name so I cannot find the article to fwd to Lee for his radio program [and verify my claim that this sadistic practice does indeed happen].

So if anyone at FreeRep can remember reading this article and can hopefully send me the url, I'd be very, very grateful.
