Joe Biden has turned 81 with plans for a low-key celebration in Nantucket - as his administration deploys a 'Bubble Wrap' strategy to stop him from falling in public. The President has seen repeated questions over his fitness for office, with polls and pundits suggesting it is a huge problem with less than a year to the 2024 election. When asked to respond to concerns about his age by the New York Times, the White House swerved and tried to rattle off a list of his achievements. 'Because of President Biden's decades of experience in public service and deep relationships...

Magic mushrooms may have been to blame for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s mortifying bow before a Chinese official last week. Yellen, 76, gobbled four portions of jian shou qing, a type of wild mushroom, when she dropped in at a casual Beijing restaurant soon after she arrived there on July 6, Chinese state media reported in an effusive story that took care to praise the secretary’s chopstick skills. But the funky fungi are known in their native province of Yunnan for their unpredictable psychedelic effects, CNN reported.

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Worth Avenue, in ritzy Palm Beach, touts itself as an “enchanting resort destination.” People dining and strolling through the boutique shops in the South Florida town were certainly not prepared to see a naked man walking down the street on Wednesday. That was out of this world. And according to the Palm Beach Police Department, Jason Smith, 44, allegedly claimed that he was from “a different earth.” Smith was charged with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office online booking records. Police said that an employee from the Tab-oo...

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that the alliance still considered Crimea a territory of Ukraine and urged Russia to give the territory back. "All NATO allies made clear that we condemn the illegal and illegitimate annexation of Crimea and that the allies will not recognize it," he said at a press conference in Brussels on Tuesday.

NEW YORK -- The NFL fined the New York Jets $100,000 on Thursday for violating league rules when assistant coach Sal Alosi tripped Miami's Nolan Carroll on the sideline during a punt return earlier this month. The Jets were fined because Alosi "placed players in a prohibited area on the sideline to impede an opposing team's special teams players and gain a competitive advantage." The NFL called it a competitive violation as well as a dangerous tactic. Alosi and special teams coach Mike Westhoff also have been cited for public comments accusing other teams of employing similar tactics. "We will...

Just a week after confirming their first tour in five years, the reunited Greatfull Dead are booked to rock the Mid-Atlantic Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. on January 20th. A DJ will open up its a long, strange trip! [Barack Obama] picked us specifically, so it was quite an honor. There was a short list and we made the cut. As for the most important question can the band jam at the ball? Its pretty tight, about an hour set. When you play these kinds of things you say, How can I be of service? The entertainment committee makes it...

Mother of slain soldier decries 'military and governmental fascism'Fresh from a visit to hurricane-ravaged Louisiana, anti-Bush activist Cindy Sheehan is demanding the U.S. military be removed from "occupied New Orleans." In a dispatch on leftist filmmaker Michael Moore's website, Sheehan said she was troubled by the "level of the military presence" in the Gulf Coast state. "George Bush needs to stop talking, admit the mistakes of his all around failed administration, pull our troops out of occupied New Orleans and Iraq, and excuse his self from power," she said. "The only way America will become more secure is if we...

I apologize for the delay in posting this thread. The actual event took place this past weekend, and I had intended on posting some of these pictures earlier in the week, but our (Protest Warrior, NY Chapter) unofficial photographer wasn't able to get in touch with me until recently. In any case, we did make our presence felt on the sidelines of the parade, where we were simultaneously able to enjoy the festivities and counterprotest the PLO-loving, terrorist-sympathizing, fifth columnist rabble that decided to use the day where we celebrate America's most steadfast ally in the Middle East as an...

Despite being the minority party from 2000 - 2004, the liberal sector of Congress took almost 55% of the total trips and spent almost 70% of the money. Each of the top five, in terms of money spent, was a liberal. They don’t care who is taking all the trips. Realizing issues with Jones (D) and Pelosi (D), neither the media nor the liberals are interested. Time to fry DeLay. Does this bring back memories? Clinton was not only Impeached, but working with the short side of Congress. How did that prevent him from getting his way not only on...

Hi, this morning Lee Rodgers and Melanie Morgan of KSFO's Morning Show were discussing a recent news item about illegal Hispanics brutalizing a pet horse so badly it had to be put down. [they were chasing the horse in their pick-up] Sorry I don't have the url for the news item as I didn't catch where this occured. But what I'm really looking for is a recent column [within the last month or so] by a columnist which I believe I read in Townhall.com's email selection about the growing practice here in the USA by Hispanics in the so-called "sport" of...
