I just read a few of them too. I don't know why. Maybe for the same reason as when you have a toothache, your tongue is irresistable drawn to press on it once in a while, even though it gives you a sharp pain. That being said, most of the cretins over at Communist Underground are the most vile, hate-filled, paranoid and childish folks it has ever been my displeasure to come across. Nothing I've ever seen posted on this site even comes close. The whole lot of them over there combined couldn't make a pimple on Ronald Reagans backside. In fact, they'd have to stand on their mama's shoulder just to kiss his ass. What's really sad and pathetic is how many of them attribute the deaths of their friends from AIDS to Ronald Reagan instead of the their friends' own sexual behavior. Since the DUers linked to this thread, they should realize that those people made a choice. President Reagan didn't order them to go have unprotected sex.
The most pathetic is their argument that it's okay for them to act like classless animals because they 'just know' that we'll do the same when one of their icons passes away. And here they've whined all this time about pre-emptive strikes. Some have even gone as far as to argue that because we found them to be distasteful in their politicizing of a memorial (to the point of booing Republicans who came to pay their respects), it somehow is payback to once again treat the dead with disrespect.
If nothing else, it will serve to show decent Americans just how far on the fringe these people are.
Yep, they are even running a poll entitled Are you glad he's dead or some such. 58% happy at this point. A few of those are just happy that he is not suffering anymore. Can you even imagine having a poll to see folks are happy that someone died? GAK.

Given their worldview and ideology they are NOT hypocrites. With those to whom reality is a mental construct and anything is Good and True that advances the cause, nothing that supports the cause is hypocritical. Without any immutable Truth there is no hypocrisy.
I think the one's who make DU look the worse are the ones moralizing about how we need to "respect" and evil f*** just because the f*** finally kicked the bucket after a not nearly agonizing enough struggle with a disease.
