Does FR Now Load Pop-ups? (vanity)

When I open FR I am now getting pop-up ads opening up. Is this something different about FR or is it something wrong with my system?

I suggest you run Ad Aware by Lavasoft and Spybot Search and Destroy. Both are free. They should remove any spyware you have on your computer.

Zone Alarm has a popup blocker as does Guard IE. The new XP service pack 2 does a decent job of stopping pop-ups.

You might try going to www.komando.com. She usually has some very good info about popups and spyware.

And the answer to your question is, no, I have not been getting any popups on FR.

No FR does not do pop-up ads, unlike some other delusional website. There is some ad-ware on your system doing this.

Yeah, I have ad-aware. I ran it last night, but I'll run it again-- and I may need to refresh my copy. I have the free version which I downloaded some months ago. I'll let you'all know if it stops. Thanks!

And, while you are at it, start using Mozilla or Mozilla's Firefox.

The pop-up blocker eliminates all of that.
