Hello all you PC geeks out there. I need some help with Windows XP and know of two webpages that were very helpful to me in the past.
I have seen these links here on FR that reference two different resource pages for solving various minor problems with Microsoft products.
One of them was by a gentleman by the name of Bob Cerelli and the other was a Rick (something). If anyone has those links, would you mind posting them? They were a tremendous help to me, but unfortunately, like a moron, I didn't bookmark them. Thanks in advance.

Get XP Professional.

There's the first one, courtesy of Google.
Switch to CP/M.
LOL!!
I was going to set up a VAX for my freeping...
What`s the matter? Did the di-lithium crystals in the matter-anti-matter pod burn out?
uninstall service pack 2
Let me be the first to say.....
ALL YOUR OPERATING SYSTEMS ARE BELONG TO US!
LVM
Now you've dated yourself...
Interestingly enough, there are a bunch of CP/M emulators out there. Why? I haven't a clue.
Hope to freep with it soon...(sure do miss DIGITAL Equip Corp)
That's VAX 4000-60
Rick Selby's Windows Help Page and Bob Cerelli's Windows Page

I used to have to go to their house in Alameda- LOL! Let us know when you're freeping on a VAX.
Have always gotten the professional versions.
It's still a bunch of klutzy, flawed, almost disasterous code as far as my experience goes.
I haven't gotten the blue screen of death as much since SR2. But I have still gotten it.
And both IE6.X and FoxFire crash with very annoying regularity.
That's with 1.x gigabytes of RAM; tons of gigabytes HD's; 2 CPU AMD ASUS 1.x GIGHZ motherboard and a high speed net connection etc.
I always get the updates etc.
I think Microsoft's leaders should be imprisoned for inhuman cruelty to millions of people.
They have MORE THAN SUFFICIENT BRAIN POWER AND MORE THAN SUFFICIENT MONEY
to put out decent code and self correcting software. Their greed is clearly ahead of their service to their customers--which will eventually impact their greed. Evidently they don't even care about that.
How about a VAX?
