Is there a guide for all these acronyms?
My Ignorance | Today | Brainhose

Please pardon my ignorance, but.... Even though I've been using the Net for over 12 years,
I often find myself flummoxed by all the acronyms being used. Is there a good online dictionary
to help feeble old men such as myself.

You don't need a guide, you need a diarama!

You may mean diorama. Which according to webster's on-line dictionary means:
Function: noun Etymology: French, from dia- + -orama (as in panorama, from E) 1 : a scenic representation in which a partly translucent painting is seen from a distance through an opening
2 a : a scenic representation in which sculptured figures and lifelike details are displayed usually in miniature so as to blend indistinguishably with a realistic painted background b : a life-size exhibit (as of a wildlife specimen or scene) with realistic natural surroundings and a painted background

A polite answer would have been appreciated instead of a snide remark.
Thanks for your feedback though.

Seeing how the VP is such a VIP, maybe we should keep the PC on the QT, cuz if it leaks to the VC he might end up an MIA -- then we'd all be put out on KP.

WAH! If you can't appreciate a little snide humor, your silly thread will soon be something you regret!

Anyone who posts a question that makes a good straight line is going to get teased. It's happened to me, and to pretty much everyone on FR. Don't take it personally.

Of course, that's just the initial report.
