Yes, as we all know that there are several monkeys that are indigenous to north america:

The southeastern porch monkey, which can be seen in it's natural habitat after 5 or 6 in the afternoon on a warm summer day.

The Northeastern Ally Monkey

The Midwestern corn ape

The Mississippi Mud Ape and Bayou Clinger

Ah yes, the list goes on...

Here was my theory posted earlier about how the dog just miiiiight have found a monkey skull that, amazingly enough, looks remarkably like a human skull:

Also, just where is a dog going to locate an indigenous source for giant monkey skulls in the US???

I know! I know!! The monkey escaped from a travelling circus and got lost in the country near Jilley's neighbor's home. Since there weren't any bananas growing in the wild, the monkey died, and the dog found the skull and brought it home. Yeah, that's the ticket!
