The recent attacks on GOP headquarters (and, by implication, volunteers) are disgusting and frightening, but the sad thing is that they're not all that surprising, given the level of hatefulness that permeates the Democrat party. It all comes from above, i.e., the DNC, especially when you consider the perps in Orlando were union thugs, and it's the DNC that's been busing union thugs to Kerry rallies all over the country. As I mentioned before, it was bused-in union guys - all wearing their official T-shirts - who assaulted one of our elderly anti-Kerry protesters when he was in town July 31. I hope McAuliffe and his puppetmasters, the Clintons, are proud of themselves.

I don't expect any trouble when I help out at our local GOP headquarters, but I will be carrying my pistola, just in case (thank goodness for concealed carry laws).

Just listened to the man who had his wrist broken by the union thugs at the Orlando GOP headquarters on a local radio station, his hand was caught in the door and the thugs smashed the door on his wrist. I'm checking the local TV stations to see if they cover that and other attacks from democrats. Ick, I really dislike local news.

Here's the election news....

Pew Research Poll after Thursday debate. 49% Bush - 44% Kerry. No debate bump for Kerry! Ha. And no report so far on attacks. They'll probably make us wait until the 6pm broadcast. One of those, "Can your medication kill you? Find out which one at 6pm!" Did I tell you I dislike local news?

Let me take that back, we might not hear about this on the NBC affiliate, they don't even have a story about it on their website.

Back in 2000 there were two instances caught on video where dems attacked Bush supporters. One incident caught on tape was a woman (a woman mind you!) was kicking a stroller (and screaming obscenities) with a child sitting in it because the mom had adorned the stroller with Bush/Cheney signs and had the nerve to walk through the park during a Gore rally.

Come to think of it, I saw those videos on the ABC station, I'll check their site asap.

Keep that pistol handy. It's time I learned how to shoot one.

The FReeper Nomad that was with us was very angry that these people frightened us enough to take away our first amendment rights. We gave them permission , yes..

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about the Dems I know that are family/acquaintances. I can't truly say friends.. Just because you have known them for years & share some history does truly not make friends.

Sometimes we go through psychotic efforts & walk constantly on eggshells to keep "friends" .

for what?

I tried to think of the common denominator of all the folks (you know the ones that send you the hateful emails blasting GWB etc) or like one I got the other day.. Religiosity is NOT the answer (I emailed back.. it depends on the question)

The only common factor was lack of a spiritual walk. None of them in my life & there are many family/friends. Never go to church, never have.

Now church alone does NOT make a spiritual walk. We all know that.. My next door neighbor who is a monster In MANY ways & poison's neighborhood pets & otherwise "helps them to disappear" is a RAT & also a Regular 3 times week Southern Baptist. (I am not downing S. Baptist faith. I was ordained in it in 1991) - just using the statement that he puts on a good show but life does not reflect.

These people hate GWB's faith walk, don't respect life the way we do... would rather kill unborn children than capital criminals, and have a very self centered agenda much of the time.

I know the other big group of Anti bush folks are the TRUE peaceniks.. the Buddhist types.. etc. Anti war & for that reason anti Bush. I don't think this group is the trouble makers. shooting, super abusive at rallies etc.

just some rambling thoughts..

hope all are having a decent evening.. gorgeous here..
