Nah...neighbor's a nurse. She took good care of me. She did make me eat applesauce tho...blech...
The teeth episode was Monday.

Heh...our parish (well...certain members of the parish) is starting an "adult education" video course. It's crap...buncha feel-good, rules are evil, all faiths are the same, warm fuzzy crap. Dad went to talk to the pastor about it...but that's another story.
We went to the very first one, just to see if it was indeed crap...I had my first hint when they started talkin' 'bout how we were going to watch a "mini-drama" from the Old Testament. I almost lost it, but managed to keep a straight face.
It's kind of funny really. I complain a lot. But wife was telling me this and telling me how her Monday went. I really was oblivious to just about everything that happened that day. I remember that I got Luke dressed for bed, but Jr. took him because the wife was at an event at her school.
I remember that...and the applesauce...I wouldn't put money on any other memory from that day...
Except I think we watched Shrek, or was it a Kerry commercial...
That is a good one and one I own. It has a pacifistic (don't kill) sub thread in the plot but personally I thought it demonstrated clearly why only someone with superhuman ability can hope to stop evil in it's tracks without killing those commiting evil.
No doubt Old Testament "mini-dramas" are based on the writings of the Minor Prophets...

Good grief! I just noticed the FReepathon is over! That was fast. Did I miss the fireworks?
Yeah, when I had my sedation experience last month, I vaguely remember something about a wheelchair and chicken noodle soup. That is about it. My mother told me she had called and that I answered the phone. Said I spoke gibberish to her and hung up. LOL.
The Freepathon took less than 24 hours! Not bad!
Heh...the doctor called around 8:00 p.m. to check on me. He said "yeah, you were pretty alert when you left here"...then he just laughed...
See? Now that's the way the FReepathon should work!
It's like Kenshin, who can get away with not killing because he's so good, it doesn't put the people he protects at risk.
There was a scene last night where all the townsfolk pulled out their guns at the robbers - I almost cheered.
Actually you were out of it for three days, not one; this is really Friday and we all get to sleep in tomorrow...
