I'm getting an error meassage on my OE which closes the program and makes it impossible for me to read my e mails when I open it up again, this is the error message:
msimn has caused an error in Directdb.dll
my other identites work yet my main identity does not
the OE says this:
Folder could not be displayed Outlook Express could not open this folder. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Possible causes are: Low disk space. Low memory.
Outlook Express
I had a problem like that and what I did was take off the back of my P.C. tower and poured scalding hot tomato soup all over the mother board. The IT guys said I should do that everytime I get an error message. Or maybe they said never to do that again. I can't remember.

It is 100xs better than OE and you won't have any of these problems.
Listen to Bill , buy something, bigger......or convert to Thunderbird, Firefox, and (Linux) thats optional....
You might want to check out on of these two solutions. Just click on the link that pertains to your situation. Good Luck!

That's better than having the computer expert blow up a piece of my hardware while trying to fix a software problem. And I paid good hard-earn money for him to do that too!!!!
As for the error...what OS are you using? The msimn is MS Instant Messenger I'd bet. It is linked to OE operations. You could try to do a system restore back to a pre-error point in time if you are using ME or XP.
Best advice so far: Get Thunderbird or Eudora for a mail client and dump MS OE.
