It just dawned on me---Kerry is going to Iraq----Do you think this might have some meaning: that Kerry KNOWS he is going to be the president, or am I just being delusional? Am I wishfully thinking here, or what? Don't you find it interesting that he's going to Iraq now?

He's doing it so that when he runs in 2008, he can replace his tired "I was in Vietnam" line with "I was in Iraq." You'll hear it repeatedly in all of his boring, dorky speeches.

It is pitiful. The man, at 60, has suddenly discovered he has nothing to do but run for president. The point is to have a purpose, somthing he has never had. He was a tool of the leftist radicals in the 60's, has spent his life being an empty suit making absolutely no footprints as a senator. He has married a rich woman, been a playboy and now he has, at long last, discovered that life has to have a meaning. And his meaning is,,,he is running for president. I remember hearing she was going to visit Afghanistan, and thought what a horrible photo op it was going to be...the press would run pictures of it NON-STOP.

I was VERY pleased when the President gave our troops a morale boost and upstaged Medusa Clinton that Thanksgiving weekend. :)
