One day, my cats were hungry and I didn't have anything in the house to feed them except raw bacon. They loved it! I continued to give them raw bacon each day and now it's their favorite food (they won't eat raw sausage, though). In fact, now they don't want anything else. I've tried different foods on them - vienna sausage, potted meat, canned mackerel, etc., but they want their bacon. Someone told me this might not be good for the cats, but they seem healthy. What do you think? I see cats on this sight sometimes when I surf, so maybe you know something here.

While cats are "designed" to eat raw meat, I'm not sure that the levels of salt and nitrites in cured bacon would be good for a cat if that's all he eats.
I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to feed him bacon now and then, but not all the time.
And I really don't know if certain parasites that might be found in raw pork cause the same problems in cats as in humans.
Although I can't blame your cat! Once I start eating bacon, it's hard to stop. I've made some breakfasts in the past that consisted of 4 eggs, sunny side up, and a pound of bacon! (I was really hungry! And the bacon shrinks a lot).

Maybe that's exactly what has happened to little bus, since he seems to have vanished without a trace. Now we have the answer to his question (alas, too late)...NEVER feed your cat raw pork.
This is just my own personal, correct opinion but cats can be fed ANYTHING............

You're right. I am going to savor every minute of the next four years watching Bush starve the Grandmas of the country. But mine won't starve, BECAUSE HER FAMILY TAKES CARE OF HER, NOT THE GOVERNMENT!!! I say, let all the democrat Grannies eat cat food and starve if their kids won't chip in and help.
