They cut out this log just a bit narrow, but it's a good obstacle to squeeze through...
Here's another that they cut, but didn't bother to take the chunk out of the middle. You just have to be careful when you step over...

he's an ole country vet and probably has lots of tricks:') I still haven't figured out what I saw him doing with a stomach tube though. All I can figure out was maybe to remove air. The put one in and flushed it with a little water and blew it it and then asked the owner if she wanted him to go ahead and tube worm since he was already in. I wanted to ask but he was busy, lots of people around and not my horse.
