(Vanity) Judge Greer to Receive Award

Posted on 05/04/2005 1:49:40 AM PDT by theseeker777

Well, again, Judge Greer is to receive yet another award. This time, for his "professionalism and intergrity" specifically in the way he handled the Schiavo case. The "Special Justice Award" given by the West Pasco Bar Association will be bestowed upon him this Thusday night (May 5, 2005) beginning at 6 p.m. at the: Heritage Springs Golf and Country Club 11345 Robert Trent Jones Parkway New Port Richey, FL

After we all throw up our hands and say, "You've got to be kidding" let's please do our best to make this occasion a memorable one for Judge Greer. All who were against the legalized starving and dehydration of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, and who are concerned for the future of this country, please meet around 5:00 outside of the Heritage Springs Golf and Country Club in New Port Richey, FL with signs letting him and others know exactly how you feel. Please keep it peaceful.

I assume you are dedicating your life to following Judge Greer around with signs and catcalling instead of trying to save his mortal soul. Sort of like a fisher of signs instead of a fisher of men.

Welcome to Free Republic.

Does anyone need any further proof that the legal "profession" (ambulance chasers) is filled with sick, amoral people?

I also believe that Greer has become the darling of the leftists because his actions in the Schiavo case were so "in the face" of conservative Christians. The more they can do things like this to make us angry, the more "honors" they will bestow upon him.

This isn't about Greer, though, without Schiavo, he would retire as a no-name judge. This is about tweaking the noses of conservatives.

Yeah ... I lost my head for a moment and was dreaming about Biblical verses and such.

Thanks. I'm awake now. ;)

Judge Greer has already sold his soul. But by all means, seek out a visit with Judge (err, 'GOVERNOR') Greer, so you can cast your pearls before swine.

and Welcome to Free Republic.

Welcome indeed, Seeker777. As you apparently are a supporter of the late Terri Schindler-Schiavo, be prepared for the venom of the assorted pro-death posters you will no doubt encounter. Exercise caution, and have a nice day.

How did I miss that one?

Seems beyond the pale to be giving a judge an award for how he ruled in a case.

Well, that's certainly not going to help in getting a criminal indictment against him, huh?
