No. 10 -- Daunte Culpepper: It hurts to put the UCF legend on this list, especially when he's playing for the most inept head coach in the league. But if you can't get to the Super Bowl out of the NFC, something's wrong...

I would have to agree with all of these. Sure to be an interesting discussion here.

McNabb should be number one. After last year's horrific clock management and zero situational awareness in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl, can we NOW say he is overrated??

Tom Brady No. 1?
I don't think so

The Colts report here for camp Thursday. I'm already planning on attending their camps.
What this list fails to state is importance placed on QB performance by Sports reporters.
Every quarterback is overrated....In fact, any sort of analysis that concludes one athlete to any other in a team competition seems to miss the concept of team competition completely.

TO carried the team during Super Bowl. The whole team is overrated..

So basically every quarterback is overrated except for the ones who suck.

I do. As it says, his team is wildy succesful, therefore he is the best quarterback of all time. Funny no one says anything is all that special about the recievers. Or about the special teams. No, it's Tom Brady that motivates them.

As a Falcons fan, I'm glad we have Vick. Maybe he's overrated right now, but he's not near to being a finished product. Last year was only his second full year of play and first in a new offense. I don't think he'll ever be a classic passer like Manning, but with more time under his belt and better receivers, I think his passing will be passable given his other talents. Even at this time, if the game is close at the end of the game, Vick unleashed is a dangerous opponent.

This article is stupid and ignorant. This writer has no idea what he is talking about.

All QB's are overrated and overpaid. Without a line they are nothing but tackling dummies.
If football implemented and level pay scale and paid players based on team and individual stats ( why else keep all these mundane stats we have to keep hearing just to fill airtime ), basically everyone makes about 200,000 a year and then start weighing in with performance bonuses, you'd see better games and less smack talking and on-field dancing etc...
I might even start watching again. Well, not really.

No. 1 -- Tom Brady: This does not mean he's a bad quarterback. He's a very good quarterback, in a perfect situation for his skills. But quarterbacks always get too much credit for team success, which is the story here. Let's see how he does this season without a great offensive coordinator. To paraphrase Buddy Ryan, all he does is win Super Bowls.

Brady gets the job done, for that alone he is not the most overrated quarterback in pro football.
To: Colonel Kangaroo
He is dangerous, but not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady dangerous. More RB dangerous. If you have a team that stops him from running like the Eagles did in the NFC championship game, he isn't much. If his passing gets better, he could be deadly
