John Kerry’s "family-owned" 1995 Land Rover Defender for sale on eBay
eBay ^

The SUV that Kerry's family owned... not his - is up for auction on eBay. Kind of a rust bucket if you ask me.
City Motor Group is Honored to offer this 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 to our savvy online shoppers. This Defender comes with outstanding pedigree!!!
Previously owned and driven by family of former Presidential Candidate. Bottle of Notable Ketchup is not included in the purchase. This Defender has spent the majority of its spoiled life in Nantucket.

There's a much better one for sale on the GSA auction site. It's a 97, has EVERYTHING, plus "water damage", whatever that means.
Plus, it's only got 48,000 miles!
So, you might ask why the US government is selling a Land Rover? Bet you didn't even know they purchase such things!

Anyone know if Kerry served in Vietnam? Just curious.

I got my eye out for Jon Voight's LeBaron.
I am keeping an eye out for Christopher Walken's cowbell.
...and his watch.

No idea. What I find funny is that Jean Francois Kerry was so proud of "his" SUV when he was talking to the union thugs in Detroit, only to deny owning it when talking to the enviro-whackjobs, then when it's up for sale, it turns out to be a foreign SUV, which took jobs away from union automaker thugs!

Anyone know if Kerry served in Vietnam? Just curious. Did you live on a deserted island for the entire year of 2004 by any chance? Just wondering since you are asking such a question!

Well, according to what I have heard, he did. Possibly in Cambodia, also. Around Christmas time, no less. Unbelievable, no?

Who woulda thunk? I NEVER, not once, heard a peep about it! Why, that might have changed my opinion of him!

I mean, if he were one, he would have told people all about it, right?
