Does he have a coat on in every scene to try to hide that fact that he has ballooned?

Are they still cropping fat Segal from the chest up? His last few movies show very few shots of his entire body unless its covered in London-fog style jacket to hide his 300lbs

USS Clinton. Is there a destroyer named Lewensky?

I was surprised to see him show up with a badge and carrying in New Orleans, where he is (and has been) a duly sworn and authorized (sheriff's deputy) LEO.

It is bad enough for some poor sailor to have to serve on the USS Jimmy Carter. I hope when they name a ship after Bill, it is an appropriate kind of ship.

Just several weeks ago they began cutting the metal that in a couple of years will be assembled into the next aircraft carrier, as yet unnamed. It is almost a certainity this new ship WILL be the USS Bill Clinton.
In the last few years we have had the USS Jimmy Carter, the USS Ronald Reagan, and the USS George H Bush. It's simply his turn.
Take that "almost certainity" higher if Clinton has died by then. His health difficulties are substantial and he doesn't look well at all.

They were bad when they came out... and their stench only increases with age.

My wife and I rented that ... er ... movie a couple of weeks back. As the credits rolled, she turned to me, and with all seriousness on her face said, "Well, that's 90 minutes of my life I'll never have back."

Did I mention Segal has adopted a 'home boy' accent? It can't be as bad as in "Out for Justice" where not just Steven Segal but every cast member in that movie had the worst fake Brooklyn accents ever attempted.
Steven Segal has done 16 movies since "Fire Down Below" in 1997 (6 this year alone), I haven't heard of any of them.

The latest Steven Segal movie has a USS Clinton aircraft carrier So Steven is playing the part of an aircraft carrier named USS Clinton?
I guess that just proves that fat people shouldn't wear gray, because a few thousand sailors might try to board them. ;)

I had the misfortune of watching "out of reach" last night on dvd. I also hadn't realized all this stuff going on about Seagal.
aside from being a crappy movie, I noticed something weird.
I might be wrong, but it sure SEEMED to me, that whenever they were not showing Seagal talking, someone was doing voice-overs for him. I mean, you'd see him talking to someone, then the camera would pan away from him to the crowd or room or whatever and his voice changed.
what the heck?

True but for now there is no USS Bill Clinton. I like the fact that the dims have a fictional President on the TV show West Wing and soon that woman as POTUS one along with this fictional carrier. Meanwhile back in the real world we have W and the USS Ronald Reagan.
