"Access Denied"

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Computers/Internet; Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: censorship; demcrats; imatrollzotmehard; liberals; pullmyfinger; socialist
Well, this is the message I recieved when I went to log in at www.Democrats.com one afternoon, I originally subscribed to debate with them, and to see exactly what was going on over there. Well, to my surprise as I stated, the message recieved read as "Access Denied" now I'm a computer literate person, and have plenty of experience with website building, and I know what this means - bannishment. They essentially banned me, but why?

This is what had me a bit dissappointed, the fact they banned me, when I subscribed to the site, to debate, with non-vulgar manners, non-hostile wording, and just casual debating.

However, it appears they would not have it - so they have banned me, though to ban me is nearly useless, I could get around it in minutes, but I just found it very suspicious...

Can anyone say "Censorship" or "Byebye First Ammendment"?

We zot, they zot. FR is a site for conservatives, I guess theirs is a site for libs. There are probably some sites for debates between, but I don't know where.

You expect tolerance and free speech from Democrats? You'd have to go back 40 years or more to find that.

The first amendment doesn't give you the right to post on a private forum if the owner doesn't want you to anymore than the 2nd amendment gives you the right to carry a gun into someone's house if they don't want to you.

I'd suggest a brush up course on the intended purpose of the bill of rights.

That's a quaint story, little bunny. May we have another, please?

McCain/Feingold is an affront to/attack upon the First Amendment.Their having banned you isn't.

That having been said...you didn't expect anything more from them, did you?

Yes, I understand this though I am simply saying, it's not right, fair, or by any proper means decent.

Here I thought the honorable thing to do would be to welcome some competition into the ring, and play it out properly.

And it's Democrats.com, I am not sure how that would be private if it is designed as a public, political site, if it were private I wouldn't expect it to 1. come up in search engines, 2. spam my inbox with political rhetoric, or 3. have horse face kerry plastered all over it.

So as for it being private, theres some room to be mindful there, though it probably somehow is, I just simply don't like the idea of Censorship, it's a trait strongly and straight from socialism - to silence opposition so your angenda can be pushed unchallenged.
