Has anybody else been, like, totally creeped-out by the recent Burger King ad series?
I mean, like, there's this guy waking up and standing silently next to him is as scary a sight as one is likely to encounter: a hulking Burger King with a frozen face, mouth open (to take a big bite?), staring silently at the poor guy. Ewww!
It's just one of a series of totally bizarre ads all featuring the sudden appearance of the Burger King right in, like, someone's face, like, out of nowhere.
I guess the idea is that when you are, like, hungry, you'll think of grabbing a burger from BK. But really, man. Who thought this series up? I mean, like, if I woke up and saw this thing standing next to my bed, my only throught would be to get my .357 out as fast as I could and, like, blow this ugly mofo back to the Ring of Hell from which it emerged.
Maybe these ads will spur gun sales. That would be way cool!
...can't be doing a whole lot of good for kids either.

These adds totally creep me out. Its funny that you mention this. He's so weird looking.
They creek out my wife too.
The new football ones dont though so I guess they've lost their edge with the easily creeped.

I cant imagine it making them any money on burgers..they should seriously consider firing their ad guy..
The Burger King guy is freaky no matter where he is or what he is doing. They need a NEW king.

But I liked the one that they did with the King and Darth Vader where they just stare each other down.
It'll be interesting to see how this campaign has affected sales. It has kept me away like the Plague (not that I ever went there much before).
Maybe it's just too obvious.
