Posted on 01/04/2006 6:51:47 AM PST by PaulaB

Hump Day is here. Cruising to the weekend. A few things of importance for those taking notes.

1. A fellow sister is back. YIPEEEEEE

2. Anyone skilled in the art of rain dancing, please come to Texas to perform this. You may pitch your tent on Max's property.

3. If anyone has any funny New Years Eve stories, please share. :P

yeah, we watch that a lot, too. Let us know when your friends will be on.

I promise!

They taped it a few months ago - apparently it takes a while to edit them. But... it should be hilarious! They picked some real characters to be on it.

They said they showed up on the site and all the guys were still asleep in their trailers and were REALLY cranky at first.

No surprise.

Alas, she is all of 24 years old.......

She was also just engaged over the Christmas break. My son was a tad disappointed - I think he wanted her to wait for him.

Dad does enjoy the occasional conference, though.....

When in doubt, get to the root of the sentence:

"Explain to me."

Now say, "Explain to me?" Sounds stupid, and it is wrong.

"Explain it to me" is a statement, not a question.

Go directly to school. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.00.

Please, allow me to sum up the conversation for the sake of expediency...

"I'd do her."
"Yuuuup. Me too."
"Me first."
"Boobage."

Agreed.

Sad, but true.

PS... I like my coffee with just a touch of moo. Is that so hard to remember?! If I asked you that in ten days, you'd probably remember it. Oy Vey!

Stop ranting, DD... okay! I'm feeling better.

RQ can do the new design.

I'm getting inspired here.

I'm thinking we need to go "kitsch"... Some historic examples of "kitch" to draw inspiration from...

Concise, yet descriptive.

Perfect.

We stayed up and watched HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy with a bottle of champagne and a six pack of Miller light...I think we made it to the middle of the movie.

Nah - Paula's and Teeny's jobs are safe.

True story about that teacher though that shows how awful I am: My boys were new students at that school this year (it's a small private school) and she was a new teacher as well. So during the summer right after she was hired the school sent me a letter with a picture of her saying she was my son's teacher. I felt compelled to hand that pic on the fridge so my son could make sure he "got to know" who his teacher was.......
