"It was karma that the Colts missed that last FG."

In Baltimore we call that the "Irsay Curse"

The Colts have been cursed ever since they left Baltimore on the Mayflower in the dead of night.

I laugh in their face at every loss!

At least the Ravens have won a Super Bowl!

I wonder how Jerome will do in Denver? Will his asthma be a problem??

If it is, the Bus might lose his endorsement.

Did you see Vanderdrunk shank that FG attempt at the end? Clearly, the Colts were tanking the game so they'd have the chance to choose LenDale White in the April draft. ;PP

That Pats have a much better case for beating the refs. Like literally That defense pass interference call was the absolute worst I have seen in a while

Nah, the absolute worst was the "tuck rule". What team benefitted from that travesty? Oh, yeah....

The know-it-all sports guys are already dissing us!

They went right from talking about how the Colts would beat the Steelers to how the Broncos will.

I'm looking forward to it.

Denver, as a franchise, is 6-1 in AFC Championship games, 4-0 at home.

Pittsburgh, under Bill Cowher, is 1-4 in AFC Championship games, all at home.

Shanahan vs. Cowher in AFC Championship games, Shanahan is 1-0.

mostly referring to his asthma. Match-up for match-up ... the Steelers have an excellent opportunity.

Well at least Peyton Manning will have plenty of rest for the Pro Bowl.

"That defense pass interference call was the absolute worst I have seen in a while"

It sure was!

Things really started to unravel for the Pats after that loser of a call. Too bad the refs have to inject themselves into the game like that, especially when they affect the outcome so much.

If anything, on that play, the offensive receiver had his hands all over Samuels!

--"worst officiating---"
what about the "stop the game"play but no one was penalized--I always thought that play could NOT be stopped without reason(some infraction which brought a penalty?) By the By, could all the cheating by refs have anything to do with the Steelers being a 10 point underdog?---does holding the Colt loss to 3 points help the gamblers and mafia types? --of course, I have always believed all pro (and some amatuer sports are 'crooked as snakes'--too much money involved)

Let's see how well the Steelers play at Invesco Field, though.

"Sort of the way the Browns did?"

At least Baltimore originally tried to play by the rules, but when Tagliaboob told us to "build a museum", they then went in to plan B - and that is to "take what you can, when you can". That's the sorry state of the NFL today. You can thank Irsay and Al Davis for that.

Al least Baltimore had the decency to give Cleveland back the name, colors and uniform unlike other cities.

THE NON- CALL AGAINST THE FALSE START BY FANECA ALSO HAD CONSEQUENCES. THE STEELERS WOULD HAVE BEEN FACING A 4 AND 6 AND WOULD'VE HAD TO PUNT. INSTEAD THE NON CALL ENABLED THE BUS TO CONVERT THE 4TH DOWN AND ALLOWED THE STEELERS TO TAKE LOTS OF TIME OFF THE CLOCK. WHO KNOWS, MAYBE PEYTON DOES'T THROW THAT PICK TO TROY HAD HE HAD MORE TIME--- HAD FANECA GOT PENALIZED FORCE HIS FALSE START. UNFORTUNATELY, DUNGY'S STOICISM ISN'T PARTICULARLY HELPFUL IN BIG GAMES. COWHER THREW A TANTRUM ...EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW FANECA MOVED. COWHER MADE IT SEEM LIKE THE COLTS JUMPED AND HE WAS GETTING JOBBED. IT WOULD'VE BEEN HELPFUL IF DUNGY SAID," THEY WAS A FOUL ON THE PLAY, FANECA MOVED, THE STEELERS NEED TO SEND OUT THEIR DAMN PUNT TEAM." INSTEAD, DUNGY JUST SILENTLY OPED ON THE SIDELINE.

Indy starting to get a reputation for choking.

Starting? Manning's been choking for quite some time (when it really counts). I respect his abilities but he drives me absolutely nuts with all of that nonsense at the line of scrimmage. And what was the deal with overriding (assuming I caught that right) Dungy on the 4th and 2? I know the gamble worked but wouldn't that be considered insubordination?

They blew one huge interference call, and that interception that was ruled a non-interception by the refs was criminal.

actually if you read the rulke they called it right. It was called an interception on the field and overturned by replay. The rule states, "for it to be a catch when going to the ground you must retain possesion all the way through the catch." Im paraphrasing but he didnt maintain possession all the way though the catch after going to the ground. Tampa got screwed last week with a similar call, Its the right call by the letter of rules.
