I just thought I'd let my fellow freepers know that their favorite movie, Brokeback Mountain, just won Best Picture at the Golden Globes. My gf tells me when they accepted the award, they were "stunned!"
It's impossible for Hollywood to push themselves off this mortal coil, it seems. They're from the living dead.
That is, until technology gets to the point that any Joe can make a decent looking movie. Like Photoshop except in motion. Then we'll see the same decline that is befalling the big music labels that artists are using the Internet to get around.

Possible, but the major hype and selling of this movie was editing historic records with the insertion of Hollywood's homo-jihad and for this and probably other reasons it didn't work.
It was a much bigger money gamble then BrokeButt Mountain.
Of course he was Gay! He shared a room with another man and it only had one bed, what more proof do you need! Gore Vidal wouldn't LIE.
24 is better then any movie to come out of Hollyweird in the past Decade.

Yes, but I not talking about a movie being a financial success. I'm talking about it being hailed by critics and given awards. BBM will awards, but it won't come close to doing the business of POTC. I'm talking about noise and hoopla being made.
If these movies disgust us... just think what some white-sheeted fazool thinks about them(us) as secures the C4 on his wife... or kids.
I heard that during the movie, some people in the audience started barfing through the sodomy bareback mounting scene.
Once again Hollywood sees fit to forcefully shove filth down the throat of America and then call it 'art'. No wonder they had a bad year at the box office.
You have that right. These awards are a slap in the face to America.
Bareback Mountman is not a finely crafted film. It only won because of its agenda.
