The pastor of a Duplin County church is accused by authorities of having sexual relations with a 12-year-old girl who frequented the church day care operated by the pastor's wife.
Investigators say the girl is pregnant and is expected to give birth soon.
Thomas Lindell Robinson of Clinton is charged with first-degree rape of a child and taking indecent liberties with a child. Robinson's bond is set at a million dollars.
Sheriff's deputies say the girl visited the church's adjoining day care facility after school and during the summer when school was not in session. The sex acts allegedly occurred on multiple occasions from March to December of last year.
The day care has been closed by the state.

If he's guilty, throw him in jail and let him find out what sexual exploitation feels like from the receiving end.
Was the girl in the day care or a helper? I find it hard to believe the wife didn't know what was up.
Does anyone understand that that means?

The girl, who is expected to give birth within a week, attended the church day care, New Life Early Childhood Development Center, that the pastor's wife operated, authorities said. Robinson is pastor at New Life Christian Center in Warsaw.
Thanks for the legal definition, I never heard of that term before.
