Welcome to the OFFICIAL Friday/Saturday Night Singles' Thread
January 27th and 28th, 2006
"We're Gonna Have a Good Time Tonight...Let's Celebrate...It's All Right!"
In store for tonight:
I read a fascinating article in the February 2006 issue of Popular Mechanics entitled "The Flying Luxury Hotel." Rather than a cruise ship, it functions as a cruise craft -- but the potential for this new aircraft also extends to military and commercial freighting applications. More information can be found here. Let me know what you think!
Further thoughts:
What is/are your pet peeve(s)?

Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots
conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse,
to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America.
And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!

No, no rule. Just makes you look unoriginal.Looking at it gives the same feeling as putting chewed food back in your mouth after it fell out. It's just gross.
Geez, with your attitude no wonder you're single.
Thanks Scott for starting the thread. Happy Friday to you :)
To: Fiddlstix
Hilarious lyrics! It even sounds like Sinatra. But you should warn people to turn down the volume.
To: rightwingintelligentsia

That's hilarious. Wonderful lyrics.
It so happened my 13 yr old girl had to stand over my shoulder. We had a good laugh. I found it funny on the original picture, she said "who's that, Frank Sinatra??". I'm quite impressed that she knew!

Good evening, all!
I rather like the dancing Napoleon Dynamite gifs. Crack me up!
*sigh* Been a long week.
To: ozarkgirl
Well, I haven't started working them just yet. If everything goes right, I'll work 11pm - 7am Monday through Friday and 8:00am - 1:00pm Mondays through Thursdays and then a 1/2 day Saturday.
It's not optimal, but it's not impossible. It just motivates me back to my "career" again!

More or less. Just looks like I'm definitely gonna be moving, so I've been trying to get ready for that - mentally as much as anything else.
To: Fiddlstix
My 13 year old, came for another look and left the room singing "Strangers ..on my flight..."

Moving can be a pain. Across town, or across the country?
