The Dixie Chicks are raising a rukus again. This time they are using Lubbock's name.
The Chicks new album contains a song called 'Lubbock or Lave It.' It criticizes local radio stations who boycotted their music after the trio made anti-Bush remarks at a concert three years ago.
Another song called 'Not Ready to Make Nice' is about the backlash they recieved from the Bush comments.
The album is due out in April.

They aren't country anymore. They think they've left country but country left them. What are they now? I read yesterday that they are sounding like the Eagles. Oh. Yeah. Sure.
I listen to mostly country stations so I never hear them at all.
Way to bite the hand that feeds ya, chix. The few remaining die-hards who supported them just because they were "hometown girls" will no longer be bound to that sense of honor.
They will be lucky to have a record deal in 5 years!
I guess they still believe they are the only ones allowed an opinion.

Im actually suprised that the other Chicks didn't fire the lead singer and plug another one in there, they've done it before.
The Dixie Chicks are now basically a femme version of the Indigo Girls.

They're trying to create buzz for the release of the CD.

Actually, the DC were basically local band until Natalie came along. She put them on the map.
After the "incident" they had the Indigo Girls open for them at a charity concert in NC. They couldnt sell oout the venue. Not even close.
The Dixie Chicks have a new fan base now. It consists of left wing moonbats who never bought a Dixie Chicks product until Natalie Maines opened her mouth overseas.
However, none of her "new" fans eknow the truth about her kissing W's butt on her way up the ladder. How they called him a "Personal Friend" so that HIS fans would become their fans. How they would sit in HIS box seats at rangers games and eat hotdogs and chat it up and watch Americas favorite past time with him, like old friends do. Shes a FRAUD!
Wow! I didn't know about that.
Not very many people do. They even sang at one of his innagurations. To act and treat him the way they do, after he gave them a helping hand is unredeemable to me.
