Through this year, Anheuser-Busch is the only beer company that can advertise on the Super Bowl.

Anheuser-Busch also is the exclusive national alcohol beverage advertiser for Super Bowl XL in Detroit, with 10 slots and four billboards planned for the Feb. 5 broadcast on ABC (Brandweek, Aug. 22), a designation it has held for 17 years.

I thought most were pretty lame, but the Budweiser "Magic Refrigerator" was pretty good. My favorite was the one with the young colt entering the barn.
It checks out the picture of the Budweiser Clydesdale Team. It checks out the beer wagon. It sticks its small neck into the horse collar and starts pulling. The wagon starts to move – the camera pulls back to show two adult horses pushing from the back.

"brown and bubbly"?

I noted that on the disgusting list as well. Sounds more like a bad Taco Bell experience than a refreshing drink.

I saw that as a great putdown of Broke Back Mountain.

Some were good, but it seems this year's were not as good as in the past.

Overall, they were about as exciting as having the aged Stones on stage.

Hey, NFL, it's like putting Lawrence Welk on in the 60's. Our group was yelling for him to lip sync ... and the "rent a groupie" bunch was dreadful. "Come on grampa, shake it".... When you have to rehearse folks to look star stuck, the thrill is gone.

The Stones must all be going deaf. They couldn't hear how much they sucked.

i liked the refrige one meself, but I really rolled onthe floor at the end of the caveman. "bambi meets godzilla" anyone?

They missed a great opportunity by not putting the UPS logo (United Parcel Smashers) on the big foot at the very end end. I guess that would have meant a lawsuit, though.

The Bud stadium ad was the best.

LOL! I turned to my wife and told her that if Mick was on American Idol, Randy would say, "Dog, you almost sound like Mick jagger, but you just don't have it." Simon would say, "That was awful, every note was off key." And Paula would say, "Kind of interesting, but I'm sorry, it's just not appropriate for what we're looking for here."

The Dove ad seemed out of place.

This was part of a concerted effort by the NFL and advertisers to "target" female viewers. They've already ruined the olympics and made them unwatchable. The "competition" is secondary, and only a part of "the soap opera". If they do this to the Super Bowl, I'll have to turn in my man-card.

That being said, the one about the backyard football game when the man pile-drives the trash talking woman was quite funny. I thought it was going to be another "girl-power" commercial, till they threw in that twist.

The on the roof commercial bothered me because there were NO GUTTERS ON THEIR HOUSE!!!! That wife was reallllllly ignorant.

I niticed that too, but I assumed that was intentional, but not sure. I also don't recall seeing a satellite dish on the other house, but i could have missed it.

The Clydesdale colt was the cutest. The FEDEX caveman was the funniest.

Someone please tell Aretha Franklin, that in the last stanza of the Ntl. Anthem, the word "brave" only has one syllable, not seven!!

I thought it was somewhat awkward though.
