I’ve had this one in my head since the beginning and am finally getting to use it.
And now for tonight’s Dinklemeyer.
This is one of the least artistic Dinklemeyers, but it does its job. I’ve always hated drawing tables.
This strip continues to establish the talking pig as a character, as well as the relationship between him and Freddy. In a classic cartoony way, the only Freddy can hear the pig talk, and the pig always refers to Freddy as “Clyde,” just because he likes that name better. I think “Clyde” is a funny name. I liked exploring Freddy’s own peculiar home life. Although as I mentioned earlier, artistically, I still have a way to go.
