And now for tonights Dinklemeyer.
Im adding frames to make the Dinklemeyer strips look a little better.
This one comes right after introducing the talking pig. Now Ive developed the first regular secondary character, so I went back to Freddys school life. This is a very typical, average, non-special strip.
Of course, it goes without saying that this is based on my own experiences with substitute teachers. I have to be honest: some were nice, cool, etc., but some were dumb as rocks. Substitute teacher note: they should never, EVER try to get involved in the lesson. They should just give the students their assignments and be quiet. In most cases, when a substitute teacher tries to give a lecture on the lesson at hand, theyre have no idea what theyre talking about and are just making fools of themselves.

I am offended by the publication of a cartoon with the name of the most sacred of sites to my religion. "Soapy Soap" college cannot be mocked.
I will now go kill a dozen of my fellow believers during a noisy protest. Infidel!

I've heard so many arguments for and against I can't take it anymore. What is the deal here?

I have no idea... I guess it's one of those rare occasions Bush does something that us conservatives don't understand, like the Mexican border thing.

No, I think the cartoon is great! You managed to capture the complete confusion surrounding the whole mess perfectly.
The elephant is the one who is confused. Can't decide which way to go. Just like real life.
Effing perfect!

The issue is so complicated, that the text and dialogue in the second panel was some of the hardest I've ever written.

Actually, right in the same vein as elephant. That's why it is so funny. Satirical drawings also seem to provide relief because they find humor in an otherwise painful subject.
If you keep at it, I guarantee you'll be syndicated shortly. But don't sign a long contract too quickly. Aim high and hold out for the best! IMHO.

Well, in the case of illegal immigration we're actively opposed to Bush. In the case of this UAE port thing, we don't even know what's going on.

It's just a hobby right now and I'm content, but in all honesty, the idea of being syndicated makes my salivary glands start working.

I see what you're saying though. It's a lot better when we know for sure we can stand behind Bush on an issue.

Pump up your drive, ambition, and vision!!!
If you don't go for it with gusto...you probably won't reach it. And you wouldn't want it anyway, if it were too easily achieved.
