I just recieved my first solicitation for the NY Times. I am in Hintsville, Texas.
LOL! They'll be wasting their time with me here in College Station.
I cant believe the convenience stores & other stores around here offer the nytimes - but they dont offer the Express-News outta San Antonio.
Just tell 'em your parrot prefers the Times-Picayune.
You should have told her no to the Times and then asked her if she also handles subscriptions to The People's Daily.
When they call me I tell them they have mistaken me for a communist. I am not a communist and don't subscribe to their party papers. Or sometimes I tell them I am a white American and don't hate myself, my husband or my sons.
I got a letter in the mail from the NYT with a subscription offer... I wrote a nice letter telling them why I wouldn't even line my birdcage with their paper and mailed it back to them, at their expense, in the postage paid Business Reply envelope they so thoughtfully provided
