Willis Is Mad As Hell... (I am not a Repulican ;-)

...Willis had a ball discussing a number of other topics, such as politics. Willis has identified himself as a Republican in the past, and before a journalist could even ask for his opinion on recent current events, the star interrupted him to set something straight.

I'm sick of answering this [expletive] question," he says. "I'm a Republican only as far as I want a smaller government, I want less government intrusion. I want them to stop [expletive] on my money and your money and tax dollars that we give 50 percent of... every year. I want them to be fiscally responsible and I want these [expletive] lobbyists out of Washington. Do that and I'll say I'm a Republican... I hate the government, OK? I'm a-political. Write that down. I'm not a Republican."

Willis was so riled up that given more time he might have actually announced his candidacy for something (there's always next time). And yet, Willis wasn't done! Entertainment Weekly just listed "Die Hard 4" as one of the top movies the magazine never wants to see made. Talk about setting someone off...

"Entertainment Weekly hates me. They've hated me since they've been a magazine," Willis says. "[Expletive] them, and you can go and tell them that. Why does anybody hate anybody? Y'know, because they have some beef. Who cares?"

There are a lot of conservatives who are mad as hell at the President for NOT acting as a dictator. Our congressmen and senators have done more damage to this country than any President. They are OUR representatives, not the President.

it's really frustrating to see Repubs in charge of everything - and have them spending the treasury like a mob of drunken sailors

I think you're being unfair to drunken sailors...at least they spend their own money

I did, but a bit outdated

True that jukeboxes are a thing of the past.

But get this: I know where an antique-yet-still-playing- black-44-vinyl-records jukebox can be found in public view.

I've never claimed to be a Republican. Although, I do vote for their more conservative candidates on occassion.

Mostly, I jsut want to be left alone to rise or fall on my own merits.

Jukeboxes are current technology - used to store thousands of pieces of media (usually CD ROMs or DVDs). The media is retrieved on demand by a robot or robots. They often look like a long hallway, both long walls lined with the media and the robots move back and forth on rails down the center of the jukebox. If both robots are in action it is referred to as "dancing robots".

Not so outdated. The media are also records, just in a different form.

Tech rant.

In Pompano Beach, South FLorida, there is a Jacks Old-Fahion Hamburgers restaurant just south of Atlantic Boulevard past Dixie Highway (where the FEC Railroad Crossing is)

Dating from the 1970's they've got a multi-color front, wood cabinet jukebox that twangs out all 50's & very early 60's rock 'n roll, R&B, jitterbug , etc.

Guessing that pretty soon jukeboxes will be PCs playing mp3s. No more CDs (at least after they are ripped).
