I don't think she can overcome that. A political observer I know who's worked in 8 campaigns, most of them winning ones, said that the primary reason Kerry lost is because of the "voted for it before I voted against it" streak in his character--he was a man who felt most comfortable in a suit, yet tried to come off as a regular guy; he was a combat vet who gained fame as a peacenik. Whatever you thought of Bush, you felt you knew him. When he said Jesus was his favorite philosopher, you might think he was a dork, but most people also felt as he did, and found his answer refreshing.
Does America know the first thing about this woman other than what her intensely controlling personality lets us see? I don't see that, and FOX certainly won't let her glide through the campaign the way the New York press did.
