Trying to stay alert, curious to see how many other "late-nighters" are surfing.
Send a Ping to "log in."
I'm curious to see how many of us graveyard shifters and night owls are surfing this late.
As a side note it is 0141 (1:41) where I am at.
Sincerely

So your at work too?
Right now, outside its 39 F. It's supposed to be cool and rainy today. Of coarse, after I get off work, I'll sleep most of Saturday away.
I spend some time in Florida while in the Navy. One of my sweetest memories is leaving Mpls/St.Paul in February with 6 inches of new snow and temps in the teens, then arriving in Orlando with temps in the 60's and the smell of spring in the air. Although I was cooking in my dress blues and my Pea-coat, I was in a state of awe, realizing that Winter for me, was O-V-E-R!!!

Yo. It's 12:36 am left coast time.
I'm usually up this time of night, but it's been a long day and I'm thinking about hitting the hay.
I'm up because I'm writing my dissertation, don't have classes anymore, only work 3 days, and I can go in when I want, so I don't set the alarm. It's a good life. : )

Welcome aboard. Good luck with your dissertation. (BTW what is that?)
Someones got to have the good life...or else the world would get out of balance. (Or so I heard on the Simpsons.)

I moved here last week from NY. I LOVE the weather. Sandals and short sleeves (and a light jacket here in the datacenter) are my new normal clothes. Later today I can sleep, safe in the knowledge, that it will be warm and sunny again when I wake up. Send some of that rain my way, if you can.
Yup, I'm here keeping the networks up. Next weekend will be our big weekend, because the various application will be doing their monthly upgrades, so I am enjoying the quietness of tonight.

It's 1645L, 82 degrees, and a beautiful sunny day overlooking the East China Sea.
My ribeye on the grill is almost done!
Life is good.
To: ScubieNuc
Well in roughly one hour I got 44 views and a few pings. One from the left coast and one from Florida and one from the largest state in the 48. Not too bad.

NO Sh--!!!!
(Sorry for the "language.")
What color is the East China Sea right now?
Is that a humid 82 or a dry 82 degrees?

It's not too humid today, but certainly not dry.
I just looked out to check the color of the sea, but the sun's glare off the water is too bright to really tell. This morning it was a calm bluish-green.
