I've met one nice guy on line and a lot of men who were married but wanted a little "side action". Are there any decent, intelligent, single men out there who are in their 40's and 50's?

Yes. We lived together for a few months.

He was kinda fat so it was an OK first meeting with me hiding my disappointment. A relationship was started after several more visits.

Yes....Country Singles.com. He stated he was a.....(now don't laugh) Helicopter Pilot and Photographer from Iowa.

Yes. We ended up on Judge Judy when I took him to Small Claims Court to get back $6,000 he lied me out of. I don't do internet dating anymore........
In after the ping, which I didn't get. Am I still on the list?
He turned out to be an exceptional pathological liar. He actually fooled most people, however, what was interesting is that he didn't fool most of the men. They were leary....
He had some very good qualities although he must have known it wasn't going to last because I caught him communicating with several other women (potential victims). He actually had another woman on the string when I kicked him out of my home and sent him packing to a local cheap hotel. He brought his new "wife" to the Judge Judy showing that was aired on January 11th, 2001, I believe. I had actually tried to warn her about him before they married, but she didn't believe me. He prepared her for my attempts to convince her of his "issues." She bought it AND him..... hahahahahaha. I got my money back within a week.
"Iowa" should have set off the red flags.

Just got back from doggie walk at cemetery.. Large area of maybe a couple hundred acres at rear of property is woodland, meadow & a large pond..maybe an acre. great place for pooches to run their puppy energy off!

3. Did you meet them on a dating site or elsewhere? It was in a Yahoo Chat Room. Was it totally by accident or chance? Totally by accident.
4. Do you have a funny, gross, scary, or otherwise entertaining internet dating story to share? Either one that happened to you, or someone you know. Yes, but most of you have heard my story already.
5. Any funny or interesting “meeting the parents” stories? My husband and I met each other's parents the same day we met each other!
6. Has meeting the parents ever caused a breakup? Nope.
7. And, finally, have you ever set up a “backup” scenario to get out of a potentially bad date? Yup. If you are a chick, never meet the guy alone. Do it in a group. Have a couple friends come with you and ask your date to invite a couple of his friends. If you meet him on your own, have a cell phone handy. Make sure your family and friends know where you will be in case there's trouble. Make sure your first date is in a very public place. Make sure you are seen by people the entire time, including walking to and from your car.
