OMAHA, Neb. -- A woman in west Omaha is trying to figure out what was prowling her back yard on Tuesday morning.
Mary Ann Carta lives near 138th and Hamilton streets, and she took some pictures of the animal that she saw. She said it could be a bobcat, but it has her scared about taking her morning walk or allowing her grandchildren to play outside.
"I was not afraid at the moment. I was in the house, but I was just thinking about yesterday with the grandkids it was like, what would I have done," Carta said.
An expert at the Henry Doorly Zoo is examining the pictures. He thinks it could be a feral cat.
Chupacabra of the Neborg ping!
That's what I thought...a human leg and foot and it walks on all fours. (BTW, it doesn't have a "baboon butt") The hair/fur is rather odd, too, like a human with porphyria.
The creature looks like a genetic experiment gone bad.
Could it be an ape of some sort? Or perhaps the Manbearpig?
Coyote-hyena hybrids are impossible. Coyotes are dogs, but hyenas are relatives of cats (they're actually big, bulky civets).
It ..... um ......... actually looks a bit like Darks!
WOW!
Heh heh heh.
;-)
Hey! Monkeys have some standards, y'know! Sheeeesh!
Thanks for the ping! Between this and the mountain lions, Omaha just gets more and more interesting to live in....
That is disgusting.
