On August 4th, we found out that Lenovo Group, the company that has taken over IBM's Personal Computing Division, had made a deal with Novell Inc. to preload SLED 10 (SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop) on its ThinkPad T60p mobile workstation.
For the first time, a major OEM (original equipment manufacturer) has committed to preloading a Linux desktop.

Your twisted view is no different than voting Democrat in an attempt to send Republicans a message. Will it make a difference, who knows, but without question you're aiding others who would like to see Republicans stamped out, or in this case, foreigners who would like to completely destroy the U.S. economy. And in your view that would be just fine, since you're completely happy buying stuff from outside the U.S., so long as it suits your shortsided selfish personal needs.
Sort of like how we dominate in ERP solutions? I believe SAP (the third largest software company in the world, behind MS and Oracle) dominates that market. Microsoft is trying to get in this market with Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions).
On the average we make the best software. But blanket statements don't work.

However, I do not buy from certain manufacturers because of things they've specifically done to piss me off. That's also capitalism, telling the company that the buyer wants it to change in order to get sales. But a foreign company can't exactly change the fact that it's a foreign company.
