Death in a Thai prison would have been better.

I have heard that the DNA evidence also excluded the family before Patsy died...

I have never heard such a claim. If you have a source I'd love to check it out.

Only if your test is at the end of the long line - otherwise just a couple of days

Maybe he's not so much of a loon. He had warrants here apparently for child pornography, but was also facing charges in Thailand. Maybe he did this to insure that he'd be extradited and face time here rather than in Thailand.

Ya think????

I've always thought that Patsy killed her own daughter. This guy hasn't changed my mind.

Not a surprise.

The one fact that troubles me is that the parents of Karr's former wife say they got letters from him signed SBTC, the same signature as on the ransom note .

Has this been confirmed? Do they still have the letters?

>>>but was also facing charges in Thailand>>>

What charges? He wasn't facing anything in Thailand. He was in his apartment when the FBI contacted the Thai police.

KUSA - 9NEWS has confirmed from two sources that the DNA taken from John Mark Karr does not match the DNA samples taken from the crime scene in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case.

Samples of Karr's saliva and hair were taken in Boulder after his arrival on Thursday. Those samples were tested over the weekend inside the Denver Police Department's Crime lab.

9NEWS has confirmed that Karr's DNA is ruled out as the foreign DNA left on JonBenet Ramsey's body when she was murdered in December 1996.

JonBenet was covered in a blanket when her body was found. Foreign hair fibers were found on that blanket and they did not match any of the Ramsey family or approximately 100 people that were tested.

Karr was taken into custody in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this month in connection with the murder. He arrived in Boulder Thursday afternoon on a probable cause warrant for charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and sexual assault on a child.

Karr said at a press conference in Thailand he was with JonBenet when she died.

Karr is scheduled to be in court Monday afternoon for an advisement hearing.

This guy has severe mental issues and a risk to children in any country he's allowed to move freely in.

Let him spend a few years in general lockup in a CA Prison for his child porn crimes.

Then if he still has a pulse, send him back to Thailand to spend time in one of their prisons.

My bet is he'll be dead within 2 years in CA lockup.
