What we have witnessed, ladies and gentleman, is a carefully-orchestrated jailbreak from a Thai jail.

I'm sure Nancy Grace's ridiculous googly eyes are rotating 360° in their sockets over this news.

...look, the guy gets out of a Thai jail, a free ride home (business class),a book deal, movie deal( Tom Cruise lead of course)and he spends some time on a cookie farm and then he goes free. He'll join up with Cindy Sheehan and Code Pink and get on the ballot running with Dean in "08".....so what's so strange about that?

But it kept him out of prison in Thailand didn't it?

I hear that Saddam claims that HE killed Jon Bennet Ramsey.

Prisons in Thailand - Amnesty International
Ten people were executed by machine-gun fire and at least 72 people were sentenced to death in 2001. At the end of the year some 300 people remained under sentence of death. Poor prison conditions and ill-treatment of prisoners and detainees, including severe beatings, continued to be reported.

Conditions in many prisons and police lock-ups continued to constitute cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment. For example, death-row prisoners were kept in heavy shackles for prolonged periods. Five inmates were reportedly beaten to death by prison guards in April when they attempted to escape from Klong Prem Prison north of Bangkok. Beatings of African and Burmese prisoners by other prisoners under the supervision of guards were reported in Lard Yao Prison in Nonthaburi Province.

Damn smart of Karr to fool the US authorities into extraditing him back to the soft comfort of American prisons, where he can now even get free condoms for use with his cell-mates in some jurisdictions.

I read somewhere that several loons have confessed to this murder, as about 200 nuts confessed to the Lindbergh baby of 1932. No joke.

He walks scott-free among our children.

Actually he was convicted in absentia for child pornography and other charges. He'll serve time in Calif.

he's still facing charges for porn isn't he though?
SFGate.com:
>>Karr was arrested in April 2001 in Sonoma County and charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, but he fled the county before he could be prosecuted, said Sgt. Robert Giordano of the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department.
A source close to the investigation who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the pornography allegedly was found on Karr's computer after someone alerted the sheriff's department.

NO! That's what he wants. He'll get the Sex Change Operation because Colorado is one of those states that pays for them.

So he gets out of a Thai jail... (shudder at the thought of being a child molester in a Thai jail)

For the billionth time on these threads....

He WAS NOT in a Thai prison. He was arrested by Thai authorities at the request of the U.S. for this case.

He WAS NOT in trouble in Thailand and confessing to get out of it.

He is a nutjob plain and simple, let's keep the facts correct.

...Most reports also refer to DNA obtained from underneath her fingernails...

From what I've read, the fingernail DNA was contaminated and they only had the underwear DNA sample to use.
