Okay, since X-Planets refers to various planets X, extrasolar planets, and thirdly, exploding planets, this topic is a bit related, as VanFlandern discusses his overspin fission (non-nuclear fission) as the origin of the Moon. :') Long way around, but the view is great, eh?
