Oh, yes. The residents of South Park are as addicted to World of Warcraft as you guys are. Our four favorite boys - Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny - and even the adults, racing to their own PCs to log on and do glorious battle against each other in the Season 10 premiere... er, although we're thinking Chef (if he were a WoW player) would be too busy with... er, the female Elven population.

My kids are hooked on WoW. It doesn't appeal to me. However, I thought the massacre of the cyber funeral attendees at an online a memorial for a real guild member who passed away was quite funny.

Wow (no pun intended), out of the 50 people I personally know who have played both games, you are the only one with that sentiment. The only people who I know that play guild wars just don't like to pay a monthly fee, of course they buy a $50 expansion box often enough that it makes up for it, and the size and scope of the game isn't even close to WoW's but I digress.

Guild Wars PvP is far better. I don't like to play for hours on hours, which is what WoW requires because they want you to keep paying that $10/month. I like to rip off a couple PvP battles as study breaks (I'm in law school). Since Guild Wars makes you pay it all up front, they have an interest in designing the game so that you don't play for hours on end and take up bandwidth. Thus you can realistically get things done in 10-30 minutes. Hence Guild Wars is better for me.

Also WoW is too "cartoony" for my likes.

The current pvp ranking system is being trashed in the expo. The 'crap' gear from just faction farming is going to be far better than nefarion loot drops and even c'thun on a few pieces. You can play 2 Battlegrounds in 30 minutes (now) and probably 5-10 arena's in the expansion so I'm not sure where you get you can't get anything done. GW's PVP is not my cup of tea. Best MMO PvP there is is still DAoC
