Have I missed something? Robert F. Kennedy is on Cavuto right now and he is STRUGGLING to speak. I have missed any talk of what is wrong with his voice. Does anyone know of his medical condition?
a kennedy? stoned.
Whatever he has, hopefully it is not the "Kennedy Curse."
I'm not watching but I know what you mean because I've seen him before...weird. His grandmother Rose spoke the exact same way. I wonder if it's just extreme form of a Boston accent?
Apologies in advance if he has some kind of physical illness.
I'm listening to it also. I was wondering the same thing. He could have a cold but it sounds more serious then that...
He's a Kennedy....just got a big buzz goin'
He was addicted to heroin.
At first I thought he had MS or something worse.
It's hormonal. He just mentioned "I'd just had my fifth child." /kidding off
He's always had this manner of speaking, but it seems MUCH worse. I hope it is nothing serious. It almost reminds me of Katherine Hepburn near the end of her acting career (On Golden Pond). I have heard him speak many times, and never thought it medical condition. Today I did.
Found this -- Robert F, Kennedy suffers from a vocal disorder known as spasmodic dysphonia. 15,5500 people in this country are afflicted with the condition.
The voice disorder gives a strained, broken or sometimes breathy tone to people who have the condition, who include Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and National Public Radio's Diane Rehm.
No. The problem is that he is SOBER.

WAS addicted to heroin?
Great searching, thanks so much. I knew it had to be some kind of medical condition, just didn't know what. It is kind of a struggle though, trying HARD not to say something tacky about him!
No wonder he looks confused and is obviously straining to speak. Notice how they keep cutting back to Neil when it gets too bad.
If he loosens that tie any more it'll land at Cavuto's feet.
Probably one of the most painful interviews I ever saw.
dyslexic
Being dead for forty years will do that to you.
