I know, I LIVE in the South...I just wanted to know how he got it.
I have a friend nicknamed "Mustard", BTW.
Now when I said I thought Natalie's mother is a lib, I wasn't specifically refering to her politics. What mother lets her teenage daughter fly off to another continent all by herself with the express objective of 'having fun' ?
Well, he was voted out, and he's not on the CMA.
Why do people think she's "crazy"? Is it because she's a woman? If she was Natalee's father, would you say the same thing?
Some of these comments here make me sick.
I was speaking of the way my local Liberal Socialist Moonbat community in Vermont thought of the young man, hope you forgive me! ( grin)
He has supported Beth in so many ways since Natalee went missing. It cost him time and money, but he managed to hold it together for a year and a half.
Now, with this latest lawsuit, he may not be able to take anymore and just wanted to get on with a somewhat normal life, and put it all behind him. I don't think they've spent much time together since that terrible day in Aruba, which would put a strain on anyone's marriage.

I expected this happen, not surprised at all. He had not appeared with her in public in quite some time.
I know there is no such thing as "closure" when it comes to something like this, but I do hope that she can regain her life again.

Natalee did not go to another continent "all by herself". Ever heard the old saw about stopping the digging when you are at the bottom of a hole? Your entire contribution to this thread is apparently to slam Natalee's mom. Bully for you.

I agree. Who cares? For the record, I don't see any indication that she's a liberal, but that shouldn't matter anyway.

I can tell you that she absolutely is not a lib. I met her and spoke with her for a few minutes back in November when she was the guest speaker at a fundraiser for my daughters' Christian school.
My daughter had 2 of her best friends die in an auto accident over 20 years ago. Both sets of parents divorced eventually. One of the Moms said that she and her husband grieved so differently that it tore them apart.
She wanted her daughter's friends around as much as possible. He could barely stand to look at them.
I can imagine that as a step-parent it has to be especially difficult to deal with the grief of your spouse.
Me neither actually, as I explained in an earlier post. Matter of fact, I don't give a flying rats a$$ about the whole story.
