“Allahu Akbar” heard on Video Inside Trolley Square.
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing and providing you with this information because I need help. A video was shot by Jaron Dansie, who usually shoots wedding videos. Dansie found himself trapped inside Trolley Square Mall when a gunman entered the mall and began shooting people. What is more important than the images is the audio portion of this video. Various persons on FreeRepublic Dot Com on the Internet have discovered what they strongly feel are the words “Allahu Akbar” repeated in two places on this video. If this is true, then this event is most likely an act of terrorism by a Muslim in the War On Terror.
The video can be found on two Internet sights. It is suggested that the first link (liveleak Dot Com) be used as it has a timer on the video. The two sites are as follows:

The Islamic war cry was first identified with any sureness by Freeper “NraFreedom” he posted it on FreeRepublic Dot Com and allowed others to listen to it. NraFreedom comments (the times refer to the approximate times on the LiveLeak Dot Com video):
As it turns out, Allahu Akbar is shouted in two places on this video. The video has a timer on it. At location 1:38 (one minute thirty-eight seconds) or 1:39 the terrorist shouts the Islamic war cry three times (you only hear Allahu of the third time; the Akbar part is covered by a gunshot). At location 1:47 The same voice shouts the war cry once or twice more.
The funny thing about this is that I originally heard it the second time but was not sure. In fact I entered this in my daily journal for yesterday:
KUTV Channel Two local CBS affiliate here in SLC released a video taken by a person hiding in a gift shop inside of Trolley Square during the shootout with the shooter. I listened to it very closely and found the Islamic war cry, Allahu Akbar repeated three times. There are more gunshots and then I thought I heard the war cry another two times; however, I was not sure about the last two times.
Now, others have heard both times in their listening to the tapes; and, I said nothing to anyone about the second war cries! People have been kind enough to use audio editing software to buffer and clean the audio up and have heard it. Many have heard the first time it is shouted, but few have heard the second time.
The end of the whole matter for me is that it was on the tape and it was not just me thinking I heard it. I really did hear it (By Freeper “NraFreedom)

I listened to the video a second time after it was fully buffered. I agree with your observation. I heard "Allahu Akbar" at last twice in quick succession after the police identified themselves at 1:38. A 3rd utterance occurred about 1:47 into the video. Islamic jihad comes to the shopping mall. No doubt in my mind. The PC press will continue to play it down. Terrorist incidents just mean another opportunity to run "wall to wall" coverage on a single topic while the rest of the newsroom takes a nap. I ran it through my sound processor in linux - I heard it at least twice.
I am stuck in a cubicle but I will definitely listen closely to it again when I get home tonight. 'Allahu akbar' would pretty much close the case.

Sure. Among other things, limiting and using much stricter criteria as to immigrants allowed into this country, protecting our borders, deporting illegal aliens and immigrants who commit crimes, etc. These and other measures will help to cut down on terrorist acts and improve national security.

This is important because the truth deserves to be heard. I don't know for sure what he did and did not yell but it certainly sounds like that is what he said on the amateur video.
If we don't learn and publicize what contributed to this kids anger that would cause him to "snap" as the authorities described it what are we to do???
If he was learning this from his local mosque or internet chat with his like minded friends I would certainly want to know if it might prevent a future incident like this.
That translates to "Bill Clinton smashed our Christian enemies and freed us to continue to pursue worldwide Jihad -- Allah bless Bill Clinton."
I don't know what we could do different, but I do hate it when they LIE to us about what actually happened. Every incident like this, they jump out and loudly declare there's "no terrorism involved"--even before they've had a chance to investigate the matter. I strongly resent being lied to in an effort to kiss up to Islam.

I agree. There have been too many lies (e.g. about the terrorist attack by the Hindu cult on the west coast, the framing of the two Border Guards, and WMD). If the government lies to us, how can we trust them?
The audio quality is not very good. The person who took the video, the off duty police officer, the police on the scene and witnesses would have heard it clearly. Maybe you could find a phone number for one of those witnesses or call the police station and ask or maybe that information would be in the police report itself.

I agree that its silly for the FBI to jump out in front of an investigation and say they know it wasn't terrorism even before they've set foot on the crime scene.
That's silly, but I don't feel particularly lied-to or offended about it. I think it's the product of bureaucratic knee-jerking in the face of the incessantly stupid-question-repeating gaggle of insipid reporters that gather at these things. It's more a product of annoyance with reporters asking the same lame questions time after time until a sort of institutional fog is sent up every time they have to deal with them.
But sure... it would be nice if they'd learn that it is OK to say "We just don't know". But *nothing* inspires a reporter to kick into hyperdrive like smelling fresh blood in the form of an admission like that.

Police: Talovic Had No Terrorist Connections
(KUTV) SALT LAKE CITY Was the Trolley Square attack in any way related to terrorism against Americans?
Some people are saying it, but police say that isn’t the case. Still, law enforcement is investigating all possibilities, including that one.
“To this point we have not found any connection that would lead us to believe that race, religion or political influence had anything to do with this person’s actions,” says Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank.
Shooter Sulejman Talovic was Muslim, and some ask whether his Trolley Square rampage was motivated by religion or political jihad against Americans.
We asked Chief Burbank, “You believe this was not an act of terrorism, either organized or just individual?”
“That is true. I do not believe that, and we have been working closely with the FBO and ICE to make that determination, and they haven’t found anything, either,” Chief Burbank responded.
At a candle light vigil head for the victims of the shooting Thursday night, Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson urged cooperation and acceptance of the Bosnian population living in Utah.
The Chief worries false rumors of terrorism and Talovic’s Muslim background might fuel hatred.
Chief Burbank said, “The thing that concerns me most is the hatred and bias that’s being portrayed towards a race, towards a group of people. That’s absolutely wrong.”
If this was what he yelled it was possibly his motivation and we deserve to know. That does not mean I think all muslims are terrorists if that is what you insinuate.
If it was a confused white kid with Aryan nation tattoos who gunned down people based on their race would that motive not be mentioned in news coverage (and be investigated?).
Why the apparent double standard? Motive is reported all the time regarding crime. Columbine was investigated and discussed for weeks and I would argue that helped everyone (schools, law enforcement, and communities) be more conscious of the possibility.

We are at war with these people. They must be eliminated until they surrender, surrender their arms and the Korans. This isn't because we care about their strange (to us) customs or that we are bloodthirsty, but rather than we want to survive.

My solution is to subdue the Muslims by all means available to us including nuclear weapons. When it appears that they are no longer a threat to us we can stop. They will decide how many of them have to die before we reach that point. Unfortunately it will just a matter of time until a substantial majority of American agree with me.

yeah, it is hard to hear. I think that if he indeed yelled "allahu ahkbar," that with all the news crews there immediately afterwards interviewing witnesses, SOMEBODY who witnessed this would have mentioned he was yelling at least "some foreign words." JMHO.
I've ordered accident reports. You call and ask for the records department and they might charge $5 or something. A quick search on the internet looks like in some cases it might be possible to order a criminal investigative report. Don't know if you could get a criminal report that doesn't involve you and maybe they won't if the case is under investigation. I would imagine cities and different states might have different guidelines.

- No. That was a defined conventional war and the bombing was the proper way to destroy the industries and willpower of the Germans and Japanese to conduct war. Our nation (as evidenced by congress) cannot even agree to fund 20,000 more soldiers (a cowardly defeatist attitude) and you expect that we will start dropping nukes all over the middle east?

- Yes and no. There are many more Islamofascist than Aryans. I simply used them as an example to illustrate the obvious double standard that exists in the MSM. They always point out things not protected by political correctness.
However, I don't think most muslims subscribe to the same views as the Islamofascists. We need to attack this problem in the same fashion as we do cancer. You don't kill the entire body to eliminate a cancer.

Well.. that's the question, isn't it? The more you learn about Islam the more you will learn the answer to that question. For... within Islam, you *have* no Islamic friends.

I'm not worried about flames and thankfully he can't nuke me.
It's not often I take the other side of the argument but the only muslim friend I currently associate with is a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve and a prosecutor. We drink beer every so often so he is probably about as good a Muslim as I am a Christian.
I got to know a few Muslim officers during my time in the Army through joint training or schools. They were a unique group and I probably pestered them with too many questions. My perceptions were that most of them were most worried with feeding their families, paying the bills, and doing something positive. I also noted that they disliked other Muslims based on geography/ethnicity.
I did not find them to be the monolithic enemy so many make them out to be. The hatred between Sunni/Shia is a perfect example.
We need to focus our energies on Islamofascists and not Islam. That's my .02.

But like many others, I've begun my own study of Islam and the Arab mind and Arabic history. My results so far are not encouraging. So there's that.
