An upcoming 90-minute documentary directed by Jewish Canadian filmmaker Simcha Jacobovici and produced by Titanic director James Cameron makes the startling assertion that Jesus was never resurrected -- a cornerstone of Christian faith -- and that his burial cave was discovered in the Jerusalem suburb of Talpiyot some 27 years ago. One more thing, Jesus fathered a son with Mary Magdelene.

Cameron and Jacobovici claim they have DNA tests, archeological evidence and Biblical studies on their side. And on Monday, Cameron will hold a press conference in New York to reveal three coffins that supposedly held Jesus of Nazareth, his mother Mary and Mary Magdalene.

The 90-minute film will be shown on Discovery Channel, Britain's Channel 4, Canada's Vision and Israel's Channel 8.

Still, the enemies of life continue to gather in strength. True enough to what the bible teaches, that which can be taken as prophecy continues to prove to be more and more accurate. Each enemy who reveals their true nature serves as a warning to the faithful and confirms what they've been taught all along.

In the end, their hatred makes the faithful stronger, which is exactly the opposite of what they intended. How's that for unintended consequences?

This is a documentary that doesn't need an advertising budget. Defame Christianity and you get all the free publicity you want. Hey, what are they going to do about it? Turn the other cheek? It's hip, it's now, it's happening and it can make a film more profitable, regardless of how good it may be.

Christ isn't in that tomb. The Romans and the Pharisees tried to place Christ back in that tomb, and they couldn't. Cameron can join the long list of sad figures who tried to discredit Christ. He too will fail.

James Cameron is a fine director and film maker, but he has some terrible personal demons. I heard him once on a documentary and he did not sound like a man who knew God. I suspect those are behind his motivation to try and put Christ back in the grave.

I also lost a lot of respect for him when he cheated on (an eventually left) his wife Linda Hamilton for this bimbo and that one.

During filming of Titanic, he was screwing Suzy Amos (who played Rose's granddaughter Lizzy Calvert). Lind found out about it when Amos answered Cameron's hotel phone one morning in Mexico.

Jesus came from an artisan family. Stonemasons (or carpenters) were not peasants. They were the middle class of that day.

Too tidy, yes. If the Jewish ruling class debunkers had done this, it seems weird, given everything else they said, that the site wasn't well known. If the disciples and followers of Jesus had known about this and were basing their gospel upon the resurrection of Jesus, it seems inconceivable, given the presence of a strong Jewish following of the Way in Jerusalem, that they would have so boldly labeled everything that they would have wanted to conceal at the very thing they knew the Jewish ruling class was so eager to publicize. Besides, the origin of Mary M as the wife of Jesus is of more recent origin in the Gnostic gospels. There was nothing in the contemporaneous literature to suggest it. This whole thing seems designed to give support to a more current, and less supernatural, myth that a lot of people are eager to believe. Maybe it was something concocted by Gnostics after the fall of Jerusalem that they could point to to support their contention that Jesus never died on the cross.

Thre is only one place "Mr" Cameron could possibly get any DNA from Jesus,and that particular piece of cloth is under control of the Catholic Church.And I don't remember anyone in the Church giving him permission to even look at the cloth. How were they sure that they have Jesus' DNA. Could it be somebody elses and people claim its jesus' DNA? Plus they say that they compared Jesus's DNA to Mary's DNA and said that since they don't match, they had to be wife and husband, but don't you think that they don't match because Jesus was the son of God? Also, why couldn't they just respect the tomb and leave it alone? I think the archaeologists were Jewish and why couldn't they respect the tomb that Christians believe in. All I personally think is that religions should just respect what others believe in and give doubts to people.

I was speaking about the Apostles, not Trotsky. He didn't give his life for anything, it was taken from him by an assassin. There are plenty of examples of people dying for a lie, you're just trying to be too clever. The 12 disciples lived with Jesus, ate with him and traveled with him. If they weren't absolutely convinced as to who he was and what he did they would have never spent the rest of their lives in hardship, deprivation and, finally, martyrdom for Him. But, you believe what you want. We will eventually all find out who was right.
