Mexican anger over US 'trespass'

Mexico's Congress has condemned what it says is a border violation by US workers building a controversial barrier between the two countries. Legislators say workers and equipment building a section of the barrier have gone 10 metres (yards) into Mexico.

The alleged border violation comes ahead of a high-level meeting in the Canadian capital Ottawa.

US, Mexican and Canadian foreign ministers are to discuss border security and trade issues.

Mexican legislators said they had photographs and video, taken on Monday, of the workers and heavy-duty construction equipment that showed them about 10 metres inside Mexico near the border city of Agua Prieta and the town of Douglas, Arizona.

The Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa said she had complained to the US authorities and that the men and equipment had been withdrawn.

Sorry if this is a double post. I searched and didn't see this posted yet.

Having said that, if you look up "Arrogant JackA$$" in Websters you'll find a map of Mexico. These people are unreal. This is EXACTLY why I boycott Mexican businesses.

Easy to resolve....build all sections of the fence at least 50 (and maybe 75-100)yards from the internationally recognized border.

Have to disagree with you there. I don't think we shpould cede an inch to the crime syndicate we know as "Mexico". We already give their illegals billions of dollars a year. Thats enough.

The proper response to this complaint to have illegals build the fence, from the Mexican side.

Until I see a GPS reading I call BS.

Prove it or STFU.

If you want to send a note about this to the Mexican Embassy, here is the contact link...

http://www.embassyofmexico.org/eng/index.php?option=com_contact&Itemid=69

I sent a nastygram to them... twice. Do it... apply pressure... make them pay for their attitude. Here is the mail I sent them...

Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa has complained to US authorities that US workers 'trespassed' about 10 meters into Mexican territory while building a congressionally authorized fence on our mutual border.

I see... when we build a fence to protect our border you complain about the workers stepping on Mexican land, but its OK for the Mexican government to encourage its citizens to sneak into my country illegally. I see how this works.

Well... SCREW YOU. From now on I'll be treating all illegal aliens from Mexico with the same disdain you reserve for Americans. I'll not pay them, I'll not tip them, I'll not greet them. Instead, I'll tell them to go back to Mexico. I used to be polite about this but not anymore.

SCREW YOU AND YOUR CORRUPT COUNTRY. I'll work day and night to make the lives of any illegal I meet as uncomfortable and offensive as possible. You've earned it.

I'll start with YOU: GO BACK TO MEXICO.

Considering the thousands of Rio Grand Farmers you just put out of business...

Major amounts of agriculture are on the river bank for close to 900 miles.

The good news is the US government was probably using a contractor that used Mexican illegal immigrants, so that the construction on the Mexican side would be ok.

Boy, that way every pregnant mexican woman will squat on the US side of the border, so that her child will be a US citizen. Then the child, and everyone related to that child can become US residents.

What's the point?
